Members of the NFL (Negro Football League) don't come here; their kneeling can't be observed.

Just where do you stand on the economic ladder in this country?

I say that those with real wealth & power include you as S*** along with the rest of the 99%.

Your Love of Country don't carry much weight with those with the Power.
There are replacements for any that don't play the game & see that the money keeps ending up at the top.
The system is run with having a surplus of people looking for jobs. (Even those with jobs keep looking for better jobs.)

This means that good jobs are hard to get & only those that do the best at seeing there is always more money flowing to the top.
Will have those jobs until some one will do a better job for less money comes along.

Income...several retirement plans. We both worked all our lives, served in the military, loved our country. My first job paid $18.00 a week for 40 hours, or however long it took to do the job. And now careful spending.

Well my first effort for money was doing things for a neighboring farmer for .25 cents an hour.
Some times I was paid by the pound for crops picked & it was more.
I looked at as getting paid to have fun. (Fro age 9 to 13 or 14.

The point I was trying to make was that much of what goes on in the market place with jobs;
I say that there is a built in markdown on labor.
As the wealth has settled in to few hands wages has stagnated.
The prospect of seeing an improvement in the value paid to the workers is very dim.

As the value paid for labor goes up the cost of living will eat any gains up.

For the last decade or so we have heard that the cost of living has stayed flat.
I don't know about you but I have seen many items I have bought continualy rise in price.
We now will see a rise in wages. That I say will be used up by the cost of living going up.

I see the catch in the logic where if only the money goes to the Few there is no inflation.
Now with wages set to rise we will be blamed for causeing inflation.
The inflation from higher prices will rise to the top.

That my dear soul is the game that the Rightwing has played for ever.

If you wish to win at this game you need to invest when you have no money to invest.

I have some skin in the game & I hope I can invest some of my savings so I can keep up with inflation.

Thank you!

I think we both have made more Good Choices in life than bad.

Making good choices is better than Good Luck.
But it never hurts to have Good Luck to go with your Good Choices.

Spring is just around the corner.
