you don't have to live in a s**t hole to own a firearm. crimes happen every where. poor middle and upper class areas have crimes . if per chsnce your area hasn't had crimes in it , then count your blessings . I know people who own firearms and have never been robed . yet they hunt and what they hunt they eat. then again even though seeing that they do own them , if , something was to happen then they would have them in the event to defend themselves and their family. if on the other hand per chance they would only be able to call the police to come and protect them . well most times every thing would of already happened and the police could fill out a report of what had happened. but you and your family could be hurt or dead by the time the police arrived .
