Is it senility, or do they think we're stupid?

I originally thought I had misunderstood, but after hearing about it again it was clear I understood just fine. Here's the deal; one of the "gun control" bills being considered, is a bill asking States to obey existing gun control laws. Yep, you heard right...............a proposed law suggesting that folks should obey the law. Now, why didn't we think of that before!

It's as obvious as the nose on our faces; the answer to all our crime problems, is to simply write a law making it illegal to disobey the law! Or maybe, a law stipulating that all laws must be obeyed! Here we've been spinning our wheels all these years trying to figure out a way to cut down on crime, when the answer was right there in front of us. We'll save a fortune on jails and prisons once we've written this new law, because no one will be breaking any laws anymore............breaking laws will be illegal.

Here's another way to save some bucks; instead of arming teachers and janitors in our schools, installing fences and what not, why not just use secure facilities we've already got? Think about it, State and Federal prisons already have all that stuff, AND they have classrooms, since prisoners can get an education while doing time. There you go! We're already paying for guards and stuff, so we just bus the kids to prison and teach them there. I mean, what kind of nut job would try to break into a prison to k**l some kids?

It's also a little confusing on this matter; protecting law abiding citizens 2nd amendment rights, is more important than protecting children's 1st amendment rights not to get k**led. So, to solve this dilemma, we need to change the Constitution a little bit.............we make the current 2nd amendment the new 1st amendment, and downgrade the current 1st to the 2nd amendment. That would make it clear which is the most important amendment and there'd be no more heartburn about it. Of course, I think it would also be prudent to have the NRA rewrite the new 1st amendment, taking out the silly s**t that's in it, like "well regulated m*****a" and other extraneous crap.

Life sure would be easier if we were ALL senile........................or just stupid...................don't you think?

Ipnmajor, It just boggles the imagination! We need to get rid of some of the stupidity on the hill in D.C. I know it has been tried before, but the Trump crowd has reached new heights in crazy, stupid and yes, evil.

It's just as easy as eating apple pie. If we followed the law, none of our "problems"
would exist. Obama would never have even run for president, the Mexicans wouldn't be
allowed across our borders, no one would come illegally across the Canadian border, and
our National Debt wouldn't be so heavy that we will never get it under control. Could
post, lpnmajor. Thank you!
