Insurance prices to double and triple next year.

Think the spike in insurance prices from Obamacare are already bad? Industry insiders are predicting premiums to rise anywhere from 100% to 300% next year in spite of the administration's assurances to the contrary.
.

The "Affordable" Care Act (aka Obamacare) is anything but affordable. We didn't have to wait long to discover that, but according to a number of industry insiders who spoke with The Hill under condition of anonymity, what we've seen so far is just the beginning. Those interviewed said they were perplexed by the recent statements by Kathleen Sebelius which downplayed the potential rate hikes, and said they expect prices to double or triple in some states.

The primary issue facing the government health care exchanges is the lack of participation by young healthy individuals who do not yet need extensive health services. The entire system is predicated on the assumption that if you force everyone into the market, including those who historically have not purchased health insurance, premiums would fall on average. This hasn't happened. Enrollment by the young and the healthy has hovered at around 25% in spite of recent efforts by the administration to reach them.

This is bad timing for for congressional Democrats who are already taking heat for their role in pushing through the controversial bill. Mid term e******ns are looming, and though many analysts have emphasized that low v**er turn out is the primary challenge facing the left, it would be a bit naive to think that the fact that opposition to Obamacare has reached a new all time high this past month isn't a variable in this equation.

Furthermore, the full scale of the problems facing the exchanges is very hard to determine at the moment due the lack of solid numbers regarding actual purchases. HHS has stated that the exchanges now have 5 million enrollees, but the administration has failed to release any numbers confirming how many people have actually paid. These price estimates coming from industry insiders may actually be on the optimistic side if real participation fails to measure up to the official numbers.

In this context it's easy to see why the administration has refused to delay the individual mandate. They know full well that the system is far to fragile to sustain itself if participation is voluntary.

What was the name of that Pennsylvania congressman or senator who gave obamacare the v**e it needed to pass into law. That person was retiring so they said but when that person who betrayed his constitutents with Pelosi piercing lies did retire he made a comeback a year later hoping nobody would remember....I hope his constituents remember the stab in the back for v****g for Obamacare... If anybody knows I would like to know his name to refresh our collective memory.

Democrats will wear Obamacare around their necks in 2014 and 2016, no matter how much the media tries to downplay it.

Obama's insurance will double then triple after it has been on the market for a while then they will come out saying the Drs have to have more money for the care they're giving to the sick - not blaming the Pharmaticals (which Obama has stock in) for the medicines we all need that skyrockets. Then Obama will go down in history as the biggest 's**mmer' of all times but by that time... no one will care.

Clearly a money grab for insurance companies, here is the klinker. Don't buy insurance! Pay the fine, quit your job, file for welfare and start making babies! Works for millions already, heck if I knew Ebonics or Spanish I could sell welfare kits so they could get it. IDE be rich!

Actually every Democrat senator who v**ed for Obamcaare can be declared the one who gave the deciding v**e since it received just the exact number of v**es to pass. That's what happened to Blanche Lincoln from Arkansas. She mouthed off that she was proud to have cast the deciding v**e and she was shown the door. Now it's Mark Pryor's turn. He's up for ree******n in Arkansas and still supporting and lying about the greatness of Obamacare.

This is a pittance. Wait until all the delayed clauses kick in. "You ain't seen nothin yet!" We are in severe trouble and most people haven't even begun to consider the true costs.
Of course, Obama's mighty pen writes faster and faster as his term grows shorter and ACA might end up as the least of our worries by the time he is gone. We will all be saying "Gee, I miss Reaganomics". ;-)

That's EXACTLY the reason for all the delays. If the true cost were known to the average liberal, he/she would become very conservative quickly.
The ACA is so successful, I have a relative (by marriage, thank God), who quit her job to raise her babies even though her husband was unemployed and not seeing many opportunities on the horizon. Since they own a home (that they rent out because they can't afford to live there) and therefore aren't able to draw welfare they have convinced a parent to mortgage his house so they have money to "live" on (which somehow includes a trip to Florida - my guess is that they figure it's okay for the president to waste someone else's money this way). Hard-line liberals are fools!

What you are saying is pretty much correct, but what is this Pharmaticals you speak of? Do you mean pharmaceuticals, or something else?
