More reason to end super PACs...

They only create more graft and corruption..

it's still likely Democrats will be outspent by wide margins.

The reason can be summed up in three words: the Koch brothers.

The two billionaire industrialists, Charles and David Koch, and their dual networks of undisclosed donors and "dark money" nonprofits, have emerged as the largest independent political force on the Republican side. Already, groups linked to the Kochs have spent more than $25 million on television and radio in crucial 2014 House and Senate races, according to Democratic media-buying sources. Other reports, which also count spending on digital advertising, show a total that is closer to $30 million.

"It is clear we will be outspent in Senate races across the board just like we were outspent in Senate races last cycle," said Justin Barasky, spokesman for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC).

Until money is taken out or severely curtailed in politics nothing will change. You can thank the 5 i***t conservatards on the supreme court for making a bad situation much worse with their citizens united gift to the rich so they could try and buy the e******ns and install who they want to work for them.

Why haven't you included George Soros in your rant? He outspends the Koch Bros. by millions of dollars for the Democratic Party and their offshoots.

Some facts regarding both.

The Koch brothers give almost exclusively to Republicans just as Soros donates predominately to Democrats and Democratic organizations. Overall, Soros has spent $34.24 million and the Kochs have spent $4.06 million

They seem to do what they want anyway and as long as the progressive don't mind being lied to over and over then they will keep doing what they want.

Secret Service Must Investigate Obama Credit Card Fraud

By JB Williams jb.uspu@gmail.com

The Obama campaign is reporting that it raised a record $181 million in the month of September alone. According to campaign FEC filings for September, the money came from 1.8 million individual donors, many overseas, and over 500,000 of whom had never donated before.Did YOU donat

e to Obama? You might have, just follow the trail… The same thing happened in

September of 2008.We later learned that most of that huge cash infusion came from foreign countries, insmall denominations, just like September 2012,averaging $53 each from millions of undisclosed donors, most of them abroad. The

re are Federal Laws making it “illegal” to accept “foreign campaign contributions,” yet Obama just

took in almost $200 million, most of it from overseas donors. The FEC must immediately investigate the source of these overseas funds.

The neat part is who those “first time donors” are… it is YOU.

And it is YOU who must demand that theFEC and Secret Service immediately investigate the massive overseas funds pouring into the Obamacampaign. The Government Accountability Institute just issued a 109 page report detailing the massive campaign finance fraud taking place in the 2012 campaign.

From the report

–

“Campaigns are not required to disclose donations from individuals who gave less than $200 in a campaign

cycle unless the campaign is audited. Furthermore, campaigns do not even need to keep records of thosewho gave less than $50. P**********l candidates are raising large amounts of money that fall under the $200threshold and audits are rare unless a campaign accepts federal matching funds. To this date (September 26,2012), the Romney campaign has raised $58,456,968 and the Obama campaign has raised $271,327,755 incontributions under $200 for the 2012 campaign cycle. In the 2008 p**********l e******ns, the Obamacampaign raised $335,139,233 in donati

ons under $200.”

includingsocial media, micro-targeting and data-mining

—

its online donation system contains at least threemajor security vulnerabilities:

1. The absence of the industry-standard CVV and unknown use of AVS anti-fraud security for online creditcard donations2. The presence of a branded, major third party-owned website (Obama.com) redirects its 68% foreigntraffic to a campaign donation page3. Active foreign solicitation using indiscriminate email solicitations and exposure to social media..........

Only because George Soros was not part of the cut and paste I put up....

The Koch bros have founded and financed a number of PACs so how much of their own money is put up can not be traced.

Each Koch bro is a great deal wealthier than Soros and just in the example above they poped for $25 million.

I agree with you that both are at blame... I am opposed to PACs for both sides, not only those for the GOP...

Batty Patty,
Where do you get your Crap? It's pure BS and actually describes what's happening with you TPer repuglicans. The name of the organization is The Chamber Of Commerce. They actually mix their foreign donations w their domestic. They also have fund drives for children benefits and use it politically. Then there's the F*****t Kochs and their billionaire club of 27 secretive repuglican donors. At last count of what can be established they contribute a minimum of $450 MILLION/year. A MINIMUM!! So your list is now nothing more than BATTY PATTY BS,BS,BS AND MORE BS. In my opinion, it's fine to disagree but to lie about it because you have no proof of anything you comment on is pure ignorance and disrespectful.

Gringo, the Democrats can't accept the t***h. They talk about the Koch Brothers being the "dark money" because they are donating to the Republican party. But it's OK for Soros to be funding subversive organizations helping Democrats.

The point that get lost in who and how much gives to whom is that money should be not a part of politics, and Citizens United should go back from whence it came. Thanks to the con supreme court it is here in the first place.
