Peewee, it would seem that you're happier than a pig in mud.

Naw, I just "choose" to be happy. Beats complaining about things I have no control over or what I don't have. I'm just blessed that a way, use to irk my dad and he would add on more work or chores, it never worked and he finally gave up, but, would occasionally say, "Bub, I think you are a tad touched in your head", if you knew my dad, it was kind of, a left handed compliment. If he started passing out compliments I knew he had a big chore for me in mind, like here is a shovel and post hole digger and this is where I want a septic tank and run the field line that way for about 100 yards and make the hole 6x6x6, no make it 8x8x8, we can always add back some dirt, we meant me, cause then he would leave for work at the fire station. When I left home I had a 48" chest and a 32" waist and callouses on my callouses. I sure do miss him when I put on weight.

Waking up in the morning, stretching, wiggling my fingers and toes (yep, they work) sitting on the side of the bed, standing up, and going to the kitchen to start my coffee. I get the paper, and about half way through my first cup of coffee, I smile. Today I can handle anything life throws at me. I head for bed at night, and thank God for allowing these creaking old bones another day on his beautiful earth.

That first swig of whiskey when I awake late in the afternoon in my heavily draped bedroom. The glistening condensation, like stars and comets, on a beer can. Knock, knock, knocking on Heaven's door with a church key. These are a dew of my favorite things.

You need AA!
