In his confusion he blurted out the t***h, father of ADHD.

This is about as bad as it gets. Everyone is brainwashed into believing ADHD is real when in fact, it is just another money making s**m. Even if it were real, the number of kids on drugs is way to high. Most of them are on these drugs simply because parents don't bother to check into anything. Psychiatry itself is a s**m. They don't know a darn thing. All they can do is listen and put you on drugs, but while they can tell you what is wrong with you by naming your problems, they can't really do a thing to cure them. Even a doctor will tell you that while they are not 100% with the cures, they can at least cure a lot of ills. Psychiatry on the other hand cures NOTING. 100% flat NOTHING. All they know how to do is put you on drugs for which they normally get a kickback.

“ADHD is a prime example of a fictitious disease.”

"These were the words of Leon Eisenberg, the “scientific father of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder),” in his last interview before his death.

Leon Eisenberg made a luxurious living off of his “fictitious disease,” thanks to pharmaceutical sales. Coincidentally, he received the “Ruane Prize for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Research. He has been a leader in child psychiatry for more than 40 years through his work in pharmacological trials, research, teaching, and social policy and for his theories of autism and social medicine,” according to Psychiatric News.

Yes, it was even admitted that they are his THEORIES. The medical industry is using the guise of helping children to depersonalize and disconnect our children from a healthy, normal upbringing. Parents are placing their children on these drugs and subjecting them to what the world has to offer, when in fact all these children are looking for is their parents in hopes of being the blessing that God intended them to be.

In the United States, 1 out of 10 boys among 10-year-olds takes medication for ADHD on a daily basis … with increasing tendency. And with the help of Teen Screen surveys in public schools, they are attempting to set up the student for the fall.

American psychologist Lisa Cosgrove and others reveal the facts in their study “Financial Ties between DSM-IV Panel Members and the Pharmaceutical Industry.” They found that “Of the 170 DSM panel members 95 (56 percent) had one or more financial associations with companies in the pharmaceutical industry. One hundred percent of the members of the panels on ‘Mood Disorders’ and ‘Schizophrenia and Other Psychotic Disorders’ had financial ties to drug companies.”

And they are reaping major benefits off of this “fictitious disease.” For example, the assistant director of the Pediatric Psychopharmacology Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and associate professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School received “$1 million in earnings from drug companies between 2000 and 2007.”

Marc-André Gagnon and Joel Lexchin, a long-time researcher of pharmaceutical promotion, performed a study which shows that the U.S. pharmaceutical industry spent 24.4 percent of the sales dollar on promotion, versus 13.4 percent for research and development in 2004. That is almost twice as much money on pushing their drugs on the people than research to make sure it is safe!

This raises the following question: Are they safe?

Read the antidepressant black-box warning for yourselves, and you will be alarmed by the side effects listed on the inserts:

• Confusion
• Depersonalization
• Hostility
• Hallucinations
• Manic reactions
• Suicidal ideation
• Loss of consciousness
• Delusions
• Feeling drunk
• Alcohol abuse
• Homicidal ideation

Why would any parent subject their children to drugs with such dangerous side effects?

Dr. Edward C. Hamlyn, a founding member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, in 1998 stated, “ADHD is fraud intended to justify starting children on a life of drug addiction.”

The “attention deficit” lies in the responsibility of the parents, not the child. Scripture tells us that the parent is to “train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6),” not the other way around.

To take it a step further, the video below explores what is being overlooked – namely, the alarming studies linking antidepressants to mass murder:

Think the Zimmerman set-up was bad? You should see what MSNBC and Rachel Maddow did to Bradlee Dean."

Where did the millions of dollars that the pharmaceutical companies paid to the doctors, and the millions of dollars that the doctors got come from? Where do the millions of dollars that Lebron James gets paid come from? Where do the millions of dollars that Wall Street bankers get paid come from?

The dollars all come from us consumers giving them up and willingly handing them over. Nobody is forcing consumers to hand over that money. I know I haven't provided any of those people one red cent from my pocket. So you people who throw your money at these people, I guess you are happy because it gives you something to complain about.

Just stop buying the drugs and ADHD will go away.

Ritalin came out in the late 60's. I was put on it when we lived out west. My Dad was t***sferred to Pa. and when we relocated the Pharmacy knew nothing about the drug since its popularity seemed to have moved west to east. They filled my first prescription and it was triple the dose it should have been. We were still living in the hotel since our house wasn't ready yet. Needless to say I had hallucinations and thought the phone was a snake, my Father had to physical restrain me. My Mother threw the pills out and I never took another one and despite some dyslexia issues did pretty good in school. I am grateful that my parents went against the doctors orders and decided what was best for me themselves. That would not be tolerated today unfortunately.

Few know that Ritalin is made in Europe. The Libs use it to help indoctrinate our kids.

I don't think ADHD will go away. The disease does exist but too many doctors prescribe for it when the real problem is discipline (or lack thereof). One of my sons DOES have ADHD and when he was young, he simply could not concentrate for more than a few seconds at a time. We used many devices (such as kitchen timers set every minute to bring him back to task), and were able to avoid the drugs.
The biggest problem with drugs and big pharma is that the consumer doesn't bother to find out what they are being prescribed and most want instant relief and don't care what they do to get it.

Mr ED,

Great post. When I was a kid, my folks took me to a doctor for my yearly examination. I remember it well because the doctor kept asking my mother if I was paying attention, sleeping too much, or could not sit still. The doctor kept asking the same questions in different ways. My mother, being an almost saint in my eyes, finally told the doctor that at times I did not pay attention and after football practice I took a nap and I had too many irons in the fire. Well he then made his notations and wrote out a prescription and handed to my mother while telling her that I was ADHD. It was the thing back then. Mother changed doctors.

I hope you know me by now. I can not pass up an opportunity to get people to smile or laugh. So, here are
Some Great Things About Having ADHD:

•Can meet someone, fall deeply in love, marry, fight, h**e, and divorce, all in about 35 minutes or less.

•Can see all of your worldly possessions at one time...because they are all over the floor

•Make far reaching analogies that no one else understands. Write them off as "Deep Thoughts"

•The mind of a Pentium--with only 2 Megs of RAM

•Able to tie seemingly unrelated ideas together

•Qualify for bulk rate mail on tax returns because you have at least 24 W-2's attached.

•Honestly believes that anything is possible

•Willing to "step out on faith"

•A greater tolerance for "Chaos"

•Provides job security for writers of Spell Check programs

Thanks again for the awesome post!

Hopefully the "better living through chemistry" days will soon be behind us. Drugs are way over perscribed (not only "psych drugs") and yes big pharma and once again the all mighty $$ are to blame.

I doubt if there is a list of people who went crazy because they were not put on drugs.

So I assume your point is that in trying to solve a perceived problem (that may have just been invented to make money off of - like g****l w*****g) they caused an even worse problem. It reminds me of the TV ads for drugs, where the bad effects of the drugs are worse than the condition the drug treats. If people would just keep their money in their pockets, and stop buying the drugs, these drugs would go away on their own, and the cost of healthcare would go way down.

I was agreeing with you. Wasn't your point that the drugs make people sicker than the disease?
