As I rewatched the State of the Union Address, I could not help think that the Democrats all were looking down, were they praying for a meteor to crash through the tundra or a bolt of lightening to hit the President? Or were they praying?

I was wrong about at least one, Michigan Rep. Brenda Lawrence. Candy Crush had Brenda's complete attention as she tapped her way through the game on her iPhone. I always thought that our nation should be their primary concern, perhaps I was wrong. No wonder she refused (or could not spare the energy) to stand for even non-partisan applause lines -- such as applauding guests or hailing low black unemployment. These are the people who make laws, pass budgets, and a host of other activities that reach into our lives. But, I suppose when you are a gamer......

There are many honorable people on both sides of the isle that you can come to common grounds with. Sadly Trump is a serial liar and nothing he says can be taken honestly. It is just a matter of waiting for his collapse and then dealing with Pence who is an ignorant nutter but at least can be trusted.

Honorable Democrats... now that would be refreshing to see in DC. The only compromise that Democrats want are those in which they get everything they want even at the expense of our nation. As for President Trump, he will be president until the day he leaves the Oval Office. I suggest that you get used to this... It is a fact and no matter how much you wish, pet your favorite rock, or say prayers for an untimely death.... He is the President of The United States and many people support him and his efforts to make the US Great Again. So, buckle in and keep your wishes going....along with wh**ever else you do for luck, alive while our Nation keeps going in the right direction. Do continue to complain about his diet, his misused words, his unt***hfulness, his hair, skin tone, and policy. As long as you do, you will only get his supporters will dig in and stand with him.... for it is our nation too and our children are "Dreamers Too!"

Of course, this is my opinion and you probably do not agree.. with that said, your party may be successful and I will have to live with Pence as President and read the invented stories invented to defame his reputation... and you may be successful in getting rid of him too. And this could go on until the next e******ns..... and in that time, what will be accomplished for our Nation?
