I didn't watch it. I was doing something else, however, I read a concise report highlighting his speech. From what was highlighted, it appeared as an uplifting speech. However, words are easy, it's backing them up that's difficult. The question was asked, how are these grandiose plans going to be paid for. I have a suggestion, find were the unaccounted for, trillions of dollars have gone, and retrieve them.

Still, the real test will be the results of immigration legislation. Past practice has been to legislate, with the promise of strengthening the border. As everyone knows, the strengthening part never occurs. This time around, the president should insist on reversing that practice. If President Trump can accomplish that, and create a secure border, then all else should be a piece of cake.

We have no TV reception here, so couldn't watch it, but the summaries sound as if he is on the right track if he will be allowed to do at least some of what he proposes. What the "progressives" IEsocialist-c*******ts will do to stop him remains to be seen. The Obama Clinton history includes many "accidents" to those who oppose them, so nothing is past their doing or will be surprising if attempted.

Trump can read the teleprompter & speak the words that appeal to the slim part of Americans that supports him.

President Obama was treated with respect until he began to show us what he REALLY meant by "fundamentally changing America", and then the republicans knew they were in for the fight of their lives to preserve American and it's values.

Remember when Joe Wilson said, "You lie" at one of Obama's STOU addresses....heads EXPLODED !!!! The silence by the DUMBocRATS last night was 100 times more un-American and we hear ... chirp, chirp. Apparently the DUMBocRATS are disgusted by higher wages, tax relief and job creation / companies returning to America from other countries.

I am sitting on the side lines watching this all take place.
I have what it takes to get buy no matter how ineffective this Nation is being run.

I have just enough money to get by & can play the money game.
The money game is taken way to seriously by some.
Now it is what I see as a game that just produces more & more losers.
With Few Winners ending up with the most.

I say that life should be a game that can be played with out there being losers.

But, unfortunately, SOME people prefer being "losers" so the government will take care of them, it's MUCH easier than getting out and taking care of yourself.
