Even Robert Mueller must realize his investigation is tainted because of the political basis at the FBI and DOJ. Nothing good can come from this investigation. If Mueller doesn't shut down the investigation, Congress should.

Mueller is in to save the asses of many, damage control..

He should have never accepted the position given his obvious conflict of interest.. That beng the case he isnt about to just shut it down..

They need to keep something going if for no other reason than to divert attention from them.

It has been my experience through the years that the only investigations that are considered "tainted" by Democrats and Republicans are those that involve one of their own.

Mueller investigation will close down soon.

President Trump will be the LAST person interviewed in the Trump/Russian collusion investigation.

Please note the differences between the Trump/Russian collusion investigation, and the Clinton e-mail investigation.

During the final months of the Clinton e-mail investigation, at least five top Clinton aids

were granted immunity in exchange for their testimony. Hillary, the last person interviewed,

was not under oath, there was (as a matter of fact) no transcript even made of this

(off the record) "conversation". In fact, numerous crimes were uncovered,

committed by Hillary's aids but were never investigated, or reported to the DOJ.

Huma Abedin was given a pass on hundreds of crimes, including lying to the FBI

about having backed up classified e-mail's on an unsecured Yahoo account.

Brian Pagliono was never even charged with his acts of contempt of congress.

Within days of her "interview", Comey made his infamous speech clearing Clinton.

Now, compare the Clinton e-mail cover-up, to the Trump/Russia witch hunt.

Mueller has granted immunity to no one, except members of his own staff, who were

clearly guilty of abusing their position to further their own political agenda.

Mueller has managed to get two guilty pleas to making false statements to the FBI,

he has also brought charges against two individuals for alleged (but unproven)

financial mis-dealings, also unrelated to the investigation of Russian interference.

To date, there has been no evidence found of any collusion between the Trump

campaign and the Russian government. Mueller's last hope is to catch the president

telling some sort of unrelated lie to investigators.

How soon after this deposition will Mueller anounce the end of his investigation,

and the results? If Mueller fails to bring any charges against the president:

Will the MSM appologize to President Trump for their two years of clearly biased attacks?

LJ I understand that Trump must meet with Ferris Mueller but can his attorney object to the scope of any questions asked. The original purview of this investigation is not even close to what it was too look into.

I shouldn't do this because you're kinda like watching that person bust their ass on the ice. Shouldn't laugh but can't help it. You might want to go look up Obstruction of Justice and Criminal Collusion.

As President he can claim priveledge and his atty. can set the Perimeter of questions that will be allowed before the meeting takes place...

Likewise if Mueller steps beyond the scope the atty. lays out he will discontinue it and hold Mueller in contempt for violating the pre agreed upon line of questioning..House committee would just slap his hand tho so why make things more difficult??

Trump does not even need to agree to meet with Mueller..
