Chuck Schumer’s plan to destroy Trump just blew up in his face
Chuck Schumer and the Democrats thought they had the silver bullet to taking down Donald Trump.
They shut the government down in hopes of forcing him to accept amnesty for i*****l a***ns.
But the Schumer shutdown blew up in the Democrats face after Trump did something unexpected.
Unlike past Republicans, Trump stood firm against Democrats threats to shut down the government unless he caved in.
He refused to sign legislation that granted amnesty to millions of i*****l a***ns while providing a fig leaf of America First immigration reforms.
So Democrats shut down the government because they thought they held the upper hand.
That decision blew up in the faces.
Within two and a half days the party completely caved in and v**ed to reopen the government without winning any concessions from Trump or the GOP.
Immediately after the v**e the media was forced to admit it was complete victory for Trump.
Members of the press even mocked Schumer for staging the shutdown and then losing so badly.

Get prepared for another shut down. Trump just offered Schumer more than he asked for. I pray Chucky doesn't except. It's a horrible deal for America. I believe and hope Trump knows he won't except which will make the Democrats look even stupider.
