I swore off the NFL 15 years ago and haven't seen a game since and I won't ever again. The reason? Seven bucks for a beer and five for a hot dog. Also nine smackeroos for a little dish of nachos with orange goop on them.

And the ticket. Don't forget that one. That's why I quit going to see the Dolphins. They raised their ticket price to $20, I said nope. That was in 1992. Watched it on TV at the local bar for years after that, until last season when they started their latest' protest'. That did it, I'm outta there. I haven't seen a game since last October.

I have never watched a football game even though I have a brother who played for the Atlanta Falcons. That being said I do have $100.00 on the pool.

I was a big Dolphins fan from way back. Even when they 'priced themselves out of the market', I still made the effort to go watch it on TV at my local bar every Sunday. Then all this blew up. I'm gonna miss my 'Fins... Still, look at all the money I'm saving!
