Ever hear of CarTalk? That pair of brothers were a r**t of entertaining - radio show and a forum like this one.
On that forum was a person, Nestor, from Poland who was, as I found out, an engineer married to a MD who gifted him with three beautiful children.. he sent me family pictures.
Here's my point: Nestor and that talented wife & beautiful family tried for five years to gain legal entry into the USA-- no go. The USA was VERY selective about accepting an engineer married to a doctor, so Nestor and family waited, and waited, and waited. Meanwhile, millions of uneducated poor South American/Mexicans were simply strolling into the USA, receiving warm welcomes and subsistence allowances of all sort- housing, health care, preferential school entrance, etc., even though they could not read, write, or speak English.
Nestor tired of waiting and in last communique I received from him allowed me to congratulate him upon his newly attained Canadian citizenship.

My style of ice fishing sounds like an adventure you would remember Linda... Just grab a chainsaw, cut a hole in the ice, anchor your line securely, grab your scuba gear and dive right in. I guarantee you will find it a most exhilarating experience... I promise!
