My BFF has a dandelion greens salad many have complemented. Yours truly has never had it. It is one of her least favorite items to shop for and make.

Such a prodigious memory for one of your years. 8-)

I have heard that dandelion greens are good to eat but I never have. I have also heard that rattlesnake tastes like chicken but I also have never eaten rattlesnake but I have had dandelion wine if that counts for anything.

Dandelion wine is dry, sweet or what? I had forgotten there was such a thing. You are the only person I have knowledge of who has had such.

To a rattlesnake, would chicken taste like chicken, or would it be like cannibalism? I ate a cannibal once, they taste like rattlesnake.

It is sweet and very popular among the Polish people. I lived in a suburb of Milwaukee as a youngster and had a number of Polish friends. I was introduced to blood sausage and dandelion wine as well as other delicacies from the Polish people.

Almost forgot, rattlesnake and dandelion greens. This was on a Boy Scout camping trip.

My grandmother made wine from dandelions. It was good and potent.
