We survived the false missile alert in Hawaii...(we will rebuild!)

I was online this morning in bed posting to this site when the alert shut my iPhone down but it seemed like a h**x so I ignored it and sure enough about 30 minutes later another message appeared saying it was a mistake. I live on one of the outer islands but no real comfort to know any potential target is at Pearl Harbor over 100 miles away. We live in interesting times.

The rumors are already flying. A neighbor with ties to senior military says there actually was a launch but it was shot down by US technology somewhere over the sea. Who knows...

You could be very well right, but sadly it will be hard for us to ever know for sure. Should we know? ABSOLUTELY!!

HI all. I live in Hawaii on the Island of Oahu. Im here to tell you that if a nuclear missile hit here it would seriously be game over. Why? Becasue the majority of homes here just like mine are made of wood with some concrete thown in. My wife woke me up to this event at about 0800 my time and I thought at first OH S**T!!!! The final emergency alert notifying us that it was an OOPS didnt come for about 45 minutes or so. What was a little strange is that at about 0810 I heard this loud boom towards Hololulu. I live about 30 miles away from the city going north west from the city of Hololulu. I had gone outside with my pup just to see what was going to happen. I mean, there really isnt anything that anyone could really do at that point if it was real. Govenor Iga pronounced E GAY, came out with what happened. He stated that it was done in error duing the shift change where a person accidently pushed the wrong button during the shift change. I say bulls**t, becasue then during that same news interview he apologized stating that there was no OOPS BUTTON. So WTF right? In any event its obvious that we are still here as Im writing this to you all. Supposedly there was to be an actual siren warning test which never came. At least we couldnt hear it. So in the future if you all hear that we have been hit just know I wont be commenting here on OPP in this life time. LOL!!!!!

Didn’t hear the boom but I’m on Maui. Assuming the Norks could accurately drop one on Pearl you may be ground zero but if their technology is as predictable as their leader it might only make it to Wake.

Since so much an be kept secret, even if we do know, we can never be sure we know.

I'm guessing that if we took out one of Rocket-Man's candles, we'd know it, because Trump would be bragging about it, and Democrats would be blaming Trump for the launch.

The dems are already blaming President Trump.
They said he hit the golfball so hard, it hit the
launch button in Korea! (humor)
