This short documentary follows the story of João de Macedo, an underdog big wave surfer who tries to run the world tour without a major sponsor. Filmed over the last 6 months in some of the most iconic big wave surf spots around the world.

Well at least I saw one thing in this video that made some sense to me and that was the wearing of a life preserver under either a jacket or shirt. That makes sense to me when they are surfing those big waves at least a life preserver will help preserve their life if and when they get buried by those waves.

If nothing else, it makes it easier to locate the bodies!
