It's only f**e news when it's not true. As for the article, business works best when economic conditions are steady and boring. Contrary to the advertised myth, business people do not like taking risks. Most business strategy is about avoiding risk. successful businesses always choose the most stable option available.

But who gets to judge "when it's not true"? Trump claims that every piece of adverse news is false, and therefore F**ENEWS, and all his supporters believe him. Which is disastrous, because most of that F**ENEWS is true. If you rely on Trump to make the call, then it becomes a syllogism -- all bad news is false. That is called tyranny.

We must each judge the t***h and that requires diligence and discernment. Most of the f**e news is far from true.

Trump speaks in hyperbole. The media declares his comments to be lies. For example, the ACA; Trump said it is now dead; the media calls that a lie. True, the ACA is not dead now but a fatal blow has been struck so it is as good as dead. Who lied? Trump, or those in the media claiming the ACA is gaining ground? Without the mandate, barring more government money thrown down that rat-hole, the ACA will disappear, vanish, die.

It is a non-issue, either way, but the anti-Trump media can't pass up an opportunity to disparage Trump and Trump continues to inform the public that he is keeping his campaign promises because the media won't.

OK, this is a good example. Hyperbole is a dangerous thing for the POTUS. It is certainly a "lie" to say the ACA is dead. It has millions enrolled and it has NOT been struck a "fatal" blow. This is hyperbole run amok. You believe it is near-dead because Trump tells you so, but that is simply far from the t***h. It is like saying a person with a fever is near-dead. If your sister had a fever, and Trump told you she was dead, would you say that was hyperbole? The fact is, the mandate was only one incentive to get coverage, and surveys say less than 10% of those enrolled were motivated by it. Premiums will go up, and some people will indeed drop coverage, but the ACA will not die. Far from it.

He engagegs in lies ("hyperbole") everyday. How is the American people to know what it the t***h? He says the FBI is riddled with trash. This is not true. He says that air safety is better because of him. This is not true. He says no one in his campaign meet with the Russians, yet we now have 30+ meetings, a number of which related to dirt on Hillary Clinton. So that was untrue. He said he fired Comey because of how he handled Hillary Clinton. Then he said he fired him because of the Russia investigation. Which is true? One is valid, the other is illegal.

The media merely reports what he says -- quoting him, and then does fact checking. What is wrong with that?

Do some research. Start with Jonathon Gruber. He was instrumental in designing the ACA and he stated that the program can't survive without the individual mandate... among other enlightening remarks.

To understand the t***h requires attention without bias. It matters not how biased the presentation might be if the viewer remains objective. If the viewer is biased, it matters not how objective the reporting is.

I totally agree. But the ACA can easily survive without the mandate, and it will. But it certainly IS alive NOW. Trump WANTS it dead, so he injures it and underpromotes it. He lies because he did not want people to enroll. So he exaggerated its demise. I call that LYING. If the President says it is dead, you will be less likely to sign up because you believe him. But it is NOT dead (and people signed up anyway). You follow?

Seriously, do the research. The ACA is on life support and has been since its enacting. K*****g the mandate is k*****g the ACA. There is no doubt he wants it dead and is working to that end. It was one of his campaign promises. Without our tax money funneled to the insurance companies, the ACA would never have made it off of the ground in the first place. Without the mandate, the government can't afford to fund the program. It is dead for all intents and purposes.

You are just wrong. Less than 10% of the people signed up because of the mandate. 9 million people just signed up! The mandate was one of 12 pillars of the ACA and the other 11 are intact. To say it is DEAD NOW is a LIE with a MOTIVE and it is WRONG!!!! You have to admit that. He wants it DEAD and announcing it IS DEAD is irresponsible and WRONG. Right? What if your sister had pneumonia -- serious, possibly fatal, and Trump told you she was dead. Would that be "hyperbole"?

Apparently you don't understand the mandate. The mandate affects every single American that buys insurance and those that refuse to buy it. Nine million signed when twenty-five million was predicted and declared to be the necessary minimum for the plan to even begin to support itself.

I already agreed that it isn't dead now but it is as good as dead. My mother had bladder cancer. Once diagnosed she was as good as dead. Two years later, we buried her. No, she wasn't dead at the diagnosis but her fate was sealed. The same applies to the ACA.
