I don't care for Obama anymore than you do, but Trump walked in to an already, albeit slightly-improving economy...these marginal improvements didn't just begin the moment he became president...some rudimentary knowledge of how slowly legislation kicks-in might be in order...

You have got to be kidding, Obama's as you say SLIGHT and that is VERY SLIGHT increases was just before the e******n, but before that it was like a stalemate, because of all the businesses that he had already chanced out of the nation and as you should know that the stock-market doesn't really show how the country was doing, just how the business is doing and that is everywhere it is in the world.

Like IBM moves to Iran and then it starts to move up higher in their ratings, with only the businesses left in the country their wasn't much going on except unemployment at an all time high, more people on welfare and SS then ever before, we were not able to feed the people here but yet we had a president that threw trillions to other countries for ransoms, wars and honorariums.
Barry knew how to drive businesses out of the country, that he said "would be impossible to get back", but it took Trump to start bringing them back and that is why the stoke market top out 18 straight time, ( a feat that no other president has ever been to come close to.) { and I think it's still topping }.

NO BARRY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TRUMP'S SUCCESS IN THE MARKET~!

This is somewhat funny... after several years of the Tea Party people bashing Obama... Fact is I happen to agree with you that all our Presidents deserve respect being they are now CIF no matter how big a clown they are... as long as Jim Mattis is around to take up the slack...it's all good...

Obama sent IRS after Tea Party so i dont blame them bashing Obama!!! He deserved it!!

i don't know where all your assumptions are coming from, but they're off the mark...real change won't be initiated via participation in our bifurcated corporate-politics,unless it is to challenge it directly, nor does any off-hand, meager support of it give it credibility...the question everyone here who gives a toss should be asking themselves is, can we do any good within a corrupt system with which we are complicit?

History always repeats itself and your answer is no...

Many a greedy government (think Rome) finished themself off ..

What is your suggestion to turn around this corrupt system we have been complicit in?? (BTW~ I agree )

Term limits??
Controlled disclosure of donations where no more than say a thousand can be contributed by anyone, including Corporations??
Eliminating all lobbyist??
Go to a flat tax where everyone pays it with no loopholes to slip through?
Get out of the UN?
Do some damn true vetting of those running??
Bring money control back to congress instead of the crooked Feds?? Given how they like to spend would that be prudent??
Have yet another party~~ independents or libertarian or some other that receives the very same position as the two others rather than having to cowtail to them with all the intentional injustices afforded that party?? Why can’t people v**e pre~e******n if they are not dem or rep??

Anyway, what recommendations do you have??

Come now proud... the President has nothing to do with how the IRS checks out tax exemption permits... The tea party groups flooded the IRS with many more applications then left leaning groups which slowed the process for righties... The righties cried foul & made some money from it... in the end there were close to the same percent of permits rejected from both sides...

That's completely false.

The IRS even admitted to targeting conservatives.

Who told you the same % of libs were denied?

No they admitted they put more labor into tea party permits because there were many more of them to process ..The tea party sued wanting money & an apology... they got some money for permit delays & no apology... I didn't say the same percent I said close to the same percent... close but no cigar...

'To all OPP specially the ones on the left...'

A refresher is in order;
Note when these quote were made -
F*****m and C*******m are both Totalitarian

To understand their agenda - Google: “CFR,TC,Bilderberg Group”
A couple Council on foreign Relations CFR & Trilateral Commission TC Quotes*
****** “An end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old fashioned frontal attack" – Richard Gardner , Ambassador to Italy - (CFR) Foreign Affairs, April, 1974

***** “Actions at the multinational level will be needed, if the process of international relocation of industries is to be accelerated in an organized fashion.” TC Report #23, 1982

The PTB control both parties by installing vetted CFR and TC members
It should not be too hard to see what has gone on since at least the 1980's.
The deindustrialization of the USA was by design. Trump is trying to reverse that.
Jobs, Jobs, jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fiat Chrysler is bringing a plant back to Detroit, and the reason they give is the Trump/GOP tax cuts that ZERO Democrats v**ed for.

How about trying a little harder to bring disparate groups together on a common platform that affects EVERYONE? How about communication without the vitriol? How about an outline on about 10 subjects that affect each and every human living in the country, and examining the root-causes for these problems? I get raked over the coals for being too idealistic, as if idealism is some antiquated notion best left in the past...how pathetic is that? You can't fight-fire-with-fire, all that ever does is create an ever-increasing inferno....do you have any suggestions for how to get back on the right track? or are you of the mind that our problems are insoluble, and that now we are in a predicament in which all we can do is prepare for the inevitable collapse>>>>?
