Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics. The official data. Oops, it should have been Trump: 170,000.

As a matter of fact, Trump's first year in office he beat the crap out of Obama's job creation in his first year.

You probably don't know that any incoming president's first year budget has already been decided by the outgoing administration. The new fiscal year starts in October. It is not a valid comparison, but I wouldn't expect a Liberal to know that. September 30 of 2018 will mark the first year of Trump's fiscal policies. His first years budget was, after all, approved by Obama. It did considerably better than Obama's first year.

Are you kidding me? The economy -- the nation -- under Bush, was falling apart! It is useless arguing with you people if that is your idea of evidence. Trump is coasting on the Obama economy. Obama had to turn around the near-Depression -- minus 7% GDP!!!! ---- that Bush handed him.

By the same token you have no idea what Trump's first year of his own budget will bring. Obama's job growth was largely part time. The creative book-cooking they used to manipulate numbers is impressive; anyone who stops receiving unemployment for any reason or doesn't qualify to receive it in the first place is employed. Anyone receiving a disability check has a job. Part time jobs, more than 70% of the "jobs created" in several years, counted the same as full time. Tens of thousands of people who saw their full time jobs cut to 29 hours a week because of Obamacare counted the same as when they were full time. It's kind of like the Obama Administration's unique definition of "deportations." They are the only administration in history to count border turnbacks as "deportations." If they kept score the way every other administration did, they would be in last place rather than first.

We'll see after the first of the year if he continues to coast.

I'm terrified that Trump will either blow up the world very soon, or k**l it environmentally. The thought of Trump doing "well" has never entered my mind. Actually, before he took office I thought he had a chance to be a crossover type (Nixon in China), but with the Inaugural attendance fiasco, I have not entertained the thought that Trump could actually be effective.

That was all Trump's fault, right? Obama's first year in office when we continued to hemorrhage jobs was all Bush's fault, since Obama had to operate on the Bush budget, but Trump is a failure because he is operating on Obama's budget. What horse puckey.

Your obsession with the Budget as a driver of the economy is strange and misplaced.

That is correct. Go check the Bureau of Labor Statistics yourself.
