The 1% owns 40% of the wealth and gets a 20% tax cut. Republican insanity.

Really that's what the tax heist does. Next year or soon thereafter the 1% will own 50% of the country's wealth. And some people say the heist will benefit the worker and the middle class. I suppose getting a $100 a month savings, if it happens, could be termed a benefit, but it misses the big picture. Think of all the programs benefiting the worker and the middle class which the Republicans will won't to cut.

Do not be overawed when others grow rich, when the splendor of their houses increases; for they will take nothing with them when they die, their splendor will not descend with them.

So how many rich Democrats will that tax cut benefit. So you do not want your own rich Democrats to become richer. They didn't v**e for it so they should not partake in the cuts that they can receive. Is that what you want? I do believe that they will laugh at you all the way to the bank.

What people like you Chocura750, PeterS, permafrost, Kevyn, etc. forget is that the money earned belongs first and foremost to the people who earned it. Expropriation of money earned through income taxes amounts to proportional ens***ement. If you want to change the results, change the system. If you look far enough back in the process, when you have these huge disparities in income, you'll find that somewhere someone got cut a deal. Eliminate the deals.

Also, realize that high income is NOT wealth. Taxes on income are roadblocks to wealth.

How many $$ does one have to have before deserve to pay more taxes? What do you call rich? The top 1% already pays over 40% of the taxes, is that fair? The reason they are rich is because they understand how to invest money to make it grow!! When they invest more people will get jobs and join the ranks of the tax payers. Politicians bad mouth the rich but they too are rich. They got rich by sucking at the federal trough they never built anything nor did they crate a job for anyone!! I don't concern myself with the top 1% who is paying over 40% of the tax bill I'm more concerned about the bottom 40% who don't pay any taxes but just hold their hands out wanting more.

These are the people or groups of people , the 1% who create jobs for all people who want to work.
The free loaders don't create jobs. They suck the juice of the hardworking people as they eat, live, and enjoy at other's peoples' sweat. That's the democrat way of life.

What are you afraid of some one else making a few bucks other than a rich liberal?

The democrats and liberals don't sweat for the money they got. Their normal means of making money is by defrauding, corrupting, stealing, from the American people. See? How did Hillary get so much hundreds of millions for a short period of time? How did Mr. Obama get $11.2 million for 8 years in office with a salary of $400K/per year?

As for president Trump, he earned his money from businesses. He is a workaholic. He had been paying more than $150 million ever year. For the democrats to suck it up for their pockets.

The 1% pays 95% of all tax. Now that will be reduced to only 94%. It just aint fair. The rich should pay 100% of all taxes. I aint rich.
I should not pay tax at all. Tax should be increased on the rich so I can get a big raise. I deserve a lot of money because I am so smart.
Just a little fairness is all I ask. I am so depressed. Somebody is always hurting my feelings. Just the other day a really bad person told me to SUCK IT UP. He v**ed for Trump. I would call Trump some really, really bad names but I can't think of any new ones.
I give up. I just am unable to compete with the average super liberal. Please, I apologize. The stupid and nasty bar has just been set too high.

Facious is my middle name. it's the only way i know to communicate with lefty lunacy. Talking to a wall is more productive.
I grew up in NW Missouri in the 1930's and I have a problem adjusting. Have been a Texan most of my life and I am actually able to communicate with most everyone.
I have to admit this is the most interesting times i have ever lived through. It's much like a continuing comedy show. I even watch MSNBC and CNN on occasion.

I agree Creek. Its the best darn political reality show I've ever seen. And I h**e reality shows. lol
I have a soft spot for Texans. I lived in Weatherford for a couple of years training on a horse ranch down there. Texans are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Texas also has some of the most beautiful horses I've ever seen. And I've seen and trained many. Even the mules and donkeys are good lookin.
Again....welcome Creek. Great to have you here.

Odessa is my home. Not much on scenery unless you're big on oil derricks and mesquite. My neighbor's son was big on horses and I believe made his home and occupation in Weatherford. Lots of horses in those parts and he built a good business shoeing and taking care of them. I remember the beautiful ranches and horse country North of Dallas.
Not impossible you may have met him. Sorry I can't recall his name.
