So far, so good. But they have not been eradicated yet, not by a long shot and many still have their teeth and/or venom. Remember, it can be hard to 'drain the swamp' when you're 'up to your ass in alligators'. I'm rating his accomplishments thus far as 'impressive'. As in my 'im' is 'pressed'.

Well, I for one would prefer to have a president that does not lie constantly in public discourse, does not use the Federal Government as their personal enrichment scheme. Or be complicit in the undermining of the democratic process.

I do agree that Pence is worse. At least Trump flaunts his faults in he public eye. Pence I believe to be genuinely dishonest. I can't t***hfully call Trump a hypocrite. Pence is another matter.

Bullmueller, Pence is rehearsing his speech and ready to be bent into the good president who wants to topple America in 16 years, not 4.
Trump is alone in Washington DC. But, he's America's only hope to continue as a sovereign nation.

I tend to disagree on that last part, Linda. I think Trump struck a chord with the heart of the people who have gone for so long being beat down by a government that constantly told them how quaint they are in striving for a better life absent government 'everything' (what I call the 'nanny State'). Surely there was an initial horror at the prospect of a Hillary Clinton Presidency, but I tend to believe that the initial rush to find an alternative (any alternative) morphed into a true movement in support of the one guy who not only presented himself as the antithesis of Clinton's socialist ideologies, but gave people back their self esteem and provided the confidence that America could really be 'great again'. Just look at his rally attendances. While Hillary (ugh!) was barely filling a local school gymnasium, Trump was taking over whole arenas with people left outside because the place was overflowing.

No, Trump's support was not a negative on Hillary, it was a positive on Trump. I truly believe that.

Here's an interesting hypothetical: What if there was an e******n and nobody v**ed?

Yeah....

Larry, if you have read any of my other posts you would know I echoe the very same sentiments many times.. It is also true when I say against Hillary that meant everything she did not stand for and her horrific character..

Trump did say what every citizen said and felt and at first not taken seriously.. However his first debate standing there with 16 other politicians and making them take a position throughout all debates was victory itself..

I v**ed for Trump because he does know what the people are s**k of and he has stayed true to his promises as well...he also is no politician.. Nor has he murfed into One this year either..

So it’s clear I agree with you in other words..

Trump is blunt, honest with his opinions, and proudly American.
For the first time in my senior life, I am proud of my country.

OBAMA did that for 8 years ,everything on your list I don’t remember a critical word from you about him.I can honestly call you a Hypocrite.

If you can provide supporting proof of what you claim I welcome it.

One example, regarding Trump's propensity to lie, compared with Obama's:

http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/12/14/opinion/sunday/trump-lies-obama-who-is-worse.html

I fully expect you to discredit the NYT (of course, with no supporting evidence that they are wrong). If you can provide a comparative list that shows Obama lying more than Trump, please do share it.
