Jesus is what Christmas is about. Not CNN

CNN just brought a whole new twist to the “war” on Christmas.

Earlier this week they publicized a new “Christmas” book that portrays Santa as a gay man with a husband.

Above a chyron that read, “Children’s Holiday Book Explores Race, Homosexuality,” New Day co-anchor Christi Paul declared the book a “fresh, new twist” and then appeared to lament the fact that “there are some families though, tsk, not so happy about the book’s maybe not so hidden agenda.”

CNN’s Victor Blackwell then interviewed author Daniel Kibblesmith, and illustrator Ashley Quach. The author explained that what inspired the book was “the annual tradition we have in this country of pretending that there’s a giant war on Christmas, and that traditional Christmas is under attack.”

The book is of course targeted at young children, ages 4 – 8, and it is meant to be another tool in the left’s effort to win the culture war against Judeo-Christian beliefs.

Here’s what CNN’s interview misses. The book is proof of the l*****t war on Christmas and the author and the illustrator both completely misunderstand what Christmas is actually about.
Santa Claus is modeled on the true historic figure of St. Nicholas who was an early church father known for his philanthropy and he was also known for confronting heresy head-on.

Moreover, we weren’t missing a gay, interracial Santa Claus because Santa is not what Christmas is about.
Jesus is what Christmas is about.

St. Nicholas had a Mediterranean complexion and spoke Greek. He was born sometime after 260 in Patara, a port town on the coast of modern-day Turkey. He is also dead as a door nail, his remains are entombed in the Church of St. Nicholas in Demre, Turkey. The current Santa story is of course pure fiction and legitimate in any incarnation.

Any parent bringing this book into their homes for their children are g***ming future homosexuals.

Secondly, contary to popular belief taught by false teachers in the pulpit, christmas isn't about Jesus either. Like easter, christmas is an old babylonian pagan festival holiday celebrated long before the birth of Christ. Neither have anything to do with Christ at all. Nowhere in the Bible does God say to honor those days in reference to Jesus. In fact, He says the opposite. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Christ was born on christmas day. These are false teachings straight from the pulpit. If one believes in God then one must believe what He says. Listen to false teachers less and read the Bible more when seeking t***h about the tenets of the Christian faith.

Used to be no matter what , people of all walks of life in America seemed a little more pleasant during the Christmas season . I was grateful for that alone ! Now , it is treated as just another day off or something to be only tolerated .
