I would say it probably doesn’t matter which bullet hits, there’s nothing there but a hollow sphere.

I saw some post combat photo's, all unofficial, tat showed VC and NVA shot dead, a few thru the head, and the brain was gone. One VC looked asleep from the front, from the back, skull and brain gone.
