That's what it took before. The north won and gave us what we have today. And as we speak we are already engaged in a cyber civil war. We attack each other via the spectrum and it is verbal warfare. I am guilty and just as ignorant as you believe me to be. But I do know with certainty that war has been imprinted upon my D.N.A. and that even my faith tells me that war will be the determining factor. The King himself says ( Matthew 10:34... Do not think that I came to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword..." )

The right gets more and more desperate as it loses a war of attrition. Every year there are less and less suriving cold warriors. Eventually they will pass from the scene like the last confederate war veterans. The children and grandchildren of those confederate veterans, in spite of being steeped in white privilege, never did again take up arms against the U.S. government.

Maybe the right can set up pretend "cold war" games, like the Civil War re-enactments. The participants can fight over who gets to play Joe McCarthy or dress up in a skirt like J. Edgar Hoover. They can play "conal-rad" sirens, and mumble "lock and load" pretending that they are under attack by "c****e" ICBMs. Just to make it more realistic they can bring in their retired elementary school teachers to conduct "drop drills" and then hide under their 1950s school desks.

Really Brian? We just don't want to be turned into a C*******t country. The signs are there, why can't you see them? Gay rights will continue even if the Republicans get in again. A******n was in place before the Obummer team took over, not that I approve of k*****g innocent, live babies. But the law is in place. What other issues do you have a problem with for the Republican side? That we want people to work? Or that we don't believe in "free rides" unless a person legitimately needs it? Or is it that we want to keep our religious freedom? Maybe that we want to be able to keep our guns to protect our families from criminals who get their guns illegally? Change is good, Brian, but changing into a C*******t country with a weak defense is not a change we want. You shouldn't either. I have grown to like you Brian. You have heart... You have passion for what you believe in. But is there any way you can see the reality of what is happening to America? I hope so.

This is why a post such as this was written. Was it not, Wolf?

Apatoo Nee- Nee. What flows from your mouth only serves to keep you in a fog of deception. Your talk of a war of attrition, the confederacy and white privilege has no relevance. The war I speak of transcends those old ideas. The war I speak of cannot be avoided. It will not be north vs south. It will not be left vs right. It will not be black vs white. It will be like no war has ever been.

Dream on fool. If you check the stats conservatives out number the left by two to one. You better find a good hiding place.

I read a good one on what constitutes a liberal. They have a large heart and a small brain. That is why they want to do everything for everybody but they don' realize that it has been tried over and over again and it has failed every time. As Einstein once said the height of stupidity ids doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. C*******m always has and always will fail do to the make up of humans.

C*******m is so over. It only exists in China and some backward pockets like Vietnam, N. Korea, and Cuba. There is a core to c*******m that does not exist in this country. Virtually no one except a super-tiny sliver of the population is advocating for the govt. to own the means of production. We all get that c*******m is mostly a huge failure, whenever it is tried. The CPUSA??? At the beginning, in 1919, it had 50,000 members. Its current membership is 15,000. The percentage of Americans who are members of the CPUSA is .000048. If you want to allow that kind of number to keep you awake at night, your fellow citizens say, "be my guest".

I have been liberal all my life. I've had hundreds of conversations with other liberals. Not once have I ever heard anyone lobby for the means of production to be taken over by the govt. Liberals are social democrats, like the Labour party in Britain, that means free enterprise with a social/medical safety net under every American. Neither the British Labour party nor the Democrats want anything that resembles Soviet style c*******m. Do you personally know any American that has spoken out in favor of that??? I'm not sure why there is such a resurgence of "c****e" hunting on the internet. My best guess is that it is a telling sign of desperation for the far right, who have obviously lost the culture war and have no idea of how to appeal to millenials and minorities. The right is bitter because they know that the majority of up and coming v**ers, under 30, do not share their values and that conservatives are destined to be turned away from the White House again in 2016. References to civil war 2.0 should be taken as seriously as the sloganeering of neo-confederate dead enders saying "the south will rise again".

What does "the north won and gave us what we have today" mean? What exactly did the 'north' give us...if you don't mind.

The north won and from their victory we have evolved into what we have today. What we have today is a matter of perception and opinion. From my perception it is my opinion that today our country faces civil issues that are not unlike the issues that were the cause of our past civil war.

Uhhhh...so what did the north give us? Can you expand on your perception and opinion? It's not clear what the north gave us. Thanks.
