Jonah chapter 2

Verse 1 - 7

Jonah thought he was a dead man. He was conscious in the fishes belly. When he found himself alive, when he knew he should be dead, he knew God was in control. How did Jonah breathe air in the fish’s belly under water? God is in control. What supports the earth? It is a spherical ball orbiting a sun 93,000,000 away that travels almost 25 times faster than a bullet fired from a high powered rifle.

Verse 8 & 9

This is an intelligently designed universe. There must be an intelligent designer. I can make pancakes. You would look like an idiot saying pancakes can make themselves. Those who don’t believe in God hurt themselves, those around them, and those who depend on them. It is foolish to listen to an atheist. He is trying to teach what he doesn’t understand.

Verse 10

Jonah came out of a fish and in Assyria they worshipped a fish god.
