Isaiah chapter 34

Verse 1

Any man that tried this would have a language problem. In Germany they speak German. In Japan they speak Japanese. In Russia they speak Russian. The only person that can speak a language that everyone can understand would be the one that confused the languages in the first place.

Verse 2

It is taught that we should repent of our sins, (without being taught what is and is not a sin), then Jesus will give us salvation. That God wants us to have good jobs and happy marriages and heal our diseases. This opposes scripture because Jesus says take up your cross and follow me and Acts 14:22 let’s us know that God does not save from tribulation, He saves through tribulation. If you are wicked God is against you. Isaiah 66:16 ends by saying the slain of the Lord shall be many. If you are against God then He is against you. You will not prosper, you will destroy yourself. There will come a time when God will get fed up. When He returns, He will take vengeance and retribution upon the enemies of God and those who don’t know God, but He will bless His children. When he returns, we will realize how foolish it was to think we could control God. God is in control.

Verse 3

Like God destroyed the Assyrian army, He is going to destroy this planet. You will find no historical record of God destroying the Assyrian army. There are some that believe if you can’t see proof, it didn’t happen. To believers no proof is necessary, but to non-believers no proof is possible. No one has seen gravity, electricity, or magnetism.

Verse 4

The powers of heaven shall be shaken. The foolish ideas held by many will be discredited. Read Matthew 24:29 and Revelation 6:13 & 14.

Verse 5 - 7

Russia is against God. God is against Russia. There will be surprise when God does what He said He would do and we can do nothing to stop Him. Jesus said to beware of false prophets in Matthew 7:15. Today we try to lead people to a christ they never followed. This is impossible. If you have not followed Christ you don’t know where He is. You can’t lead anyone to Him

Verse 8 - 10

It seems the day of the Lord is not the end of time. Verse 10 says there will be future generations, but what God has destroyed shall not be rebuilt

Verse 11 - 15

Church with all it‘s music and worship but no obedience is a source of confusion and emptiness. We believe we are saved while 60 million children are murdered. The church said nothing when the government legalized same sex marriage. During the 60’s the church led the civil rights movement and changed the laws of the federal government. This current group of Christians says nothing while the government legalizes abortion, same sex marriage, and drugs. They can’t stand up for God’s word because they don’t know it. This will lead to destruction.

Verse 16 & 17

The bible is true. Those that break God’s law are broken by God’s law. God’s word is dynamic and should be applied to your life.
