How some things that use to bother you
Aren't that big of a deal
How they've just become so miniscule
On how you feel
How the winter snowflakes can fall
Softly through the air
How you can still catch them
On your tongue without a care
How fresh it smells after a good
Old thunderstorm
How when the sun comes out
It's so nice and warm
How that little brook behind your house
Makes that gentle rippling sound
When spring gets here and
It brings the robins around
How you sit and reflect "how"
Fast time has gone
How those old rock and roll tunes
Still make you dance to a certain song
How extra hugs and I love yuzzz
Become a very important thing
How for some reason you dug
Out your high school class ring
How you noticed a few days of
Not knowing made things so clear
How you noticed the little important things
That have always been there
How you noticed that politics these days
Comes with so much strife
How you noticed there's so many tiny
Beautiful things that are part of your life
