As a democrat, I still believe the 80/20 rule...80% need vocational training in junior and senior years of school to be job ready after graduation, 20% these are generally the leader type who need some critical thinking assistance and proper course for the profession they may choose. Schools in general are missing the goal of pr********n both vocational and college bound students by not focusing on fundamental or reading, writing
mathematics that is for the career path/profession of the individual student. I choose a vocational path, with instruction in woodworking, plastics, metals leathers, and mechanical drawing in junior high, automotive mechanics
and welding. i did take a few additional classes in our local Vo-tech school in computer technology and electronic circuit design. Also Schools should encourage students to get jobs in junior high and high school as this provides students of understanding of basic business principles and financial responsibilities. Just a thought

Well it looks like the Bird(eagle eye) tucked his tail feathers and flew the coop.

I think he was going to state some BS about the public schools when to Hell because they took prayer out of the schools.

What about the jobs? You need to teach them Chinese so they can go to China and work some of those jobs that have left the country.
