So, what to do? Or 'hey the boat's sinking'

All of the negative political discussions can lead to depression when one doesn't have a fix or a solution. Most of us would feel so much better if we had a direction in finding a solution. It could become a goal to work towards with the rewards benefiting us all. We wouldn't have time for depression. Who knows, we may find a fix that makes every thing right again. I keep hoping and waiting for someone to suggest an idea or answer that will work; something to keep us busy so as not to wallow in depression. So far no knight in shining armor riding a white horse has arrived yet. Perhaps the Donald is a knight but he can't do it alone. It seems some of the helpers he recruits turn out to be the enemy in disguise. The solution I have only benefits me and no one else. I would much prefer to be a team member where we collectively fix the problems for everyone's betterment. Alas, I don't know how at this time. If we as individuals will stop thinking of how we are getting screwed by a corrupt government, then start searching for answers we collectively could help man kind. This website is good for sharing and venting our feelings but is that enough for you? My opinion of many posts here is too much bickering, h**e and harmful disagreements. These negatives block constructive thinking. Come on guys and gals, let's do some positive thinking. Remember, we are sharing this sinking boat. Let's stop bailing and fix the leaks. Let's turn this website into a positive helpful tool.

Failing that, let us find a volunteer to pass out the flotation vests and shark repellent.

Unfortunatelly, there is no happy to a free country falling. I believe if Americans don't pick up their guns and fight back, that all is lost. God does not promise a happy world, but does promise a wonderful afterlife.

I agree that we need to be more positive. I just replied to a post by KiraSeer2016 abd was not attacking or mean and was placed on the ignore list. After being replied to that kira didn’t even read my post in its entirety. I wish we could focus on what we have in common more than our differences. I have friends that I completely disagree with on a fundamental level but I think they are still good people and I spend time with them. We just don’t get into the topics that we both know we don’t agree on. As of right now, I would go fishing and have a cookout with virtually anyone on here even though we fuss about politics. There has to be common ground somewhere

It's easy to be highly opinionated here, guilty of that myself.

To all of you who responded: I hold to violence as the last resort. It has been my experience there are other ways with better out comes. There is common ground if we chose to see it. We just have to look. I'm glad two of you agree with the message I was hoping readers would see. My plea to all of you is to calm down and do some constructive thinking. If I only reached two it was not a waste of time. Hopefully more agree but haven't posted. Collectively we are good people wanting the best for all.
