Nothing is real but power and control.

I have come to the conclusion that all or most of the contention and fuss over sexuality, a******n, gun control, r****m, sexism, etc amongst the people who try to call themselves our leaders has been somewhat misleading. One side vociferously defends homosexuality, minority races and women, unless that person happens to be a conservative, at which point it all goes right out the window. An openly gay aspiring politician in California reaches out to the L**T community and is met with ridicule and attacked. Because he is running as a Republican. Women who are conservative are mocked and derided by people who claim to care about feminism and women’s rights. The black community admittedly has a serious issue with violence but cannot publicly admit that the real issue is violence within their own community rather than without. R****m has been thrown about so much that it has lost credibility as an invective. If you are a black conservative you get called worse names by other black people. All of this, in my humble opinion, are just tools being used as a means to hold power. I honestly believe that no politician should get more than two terms. There should be no pension when they leave office whatsoever and they should have to live under the same laws the rest of us do. I guess I just see much of the d******eness as calculated and that much of the outrage as an act to garner desired results. In short, from where I stand on my lovely piece of ground in the once great state of Illinois I don’t really trust the motives of anyone trying to tell me what to think, be it politician or special interests groups. I’m sorry, I’m rambling now, but my frustration is pretty high with both Democrats and Republicans especially here in Illinois where we regularly put our governors in prison. End of rant.

I envy you the fact that you are able to put your corrupt governors in prison. Here in California they just live the life of entitlement like Obama.Obama ranted for eight years about the 1% and now lives a life that has the 1% feeling poor and downtrodden.Enjoy your lovely piece of ground if our liberal politicians have their way it will soon be theirs and it will be us that occupies the prisons.

We need to put a few more Illinois politicians in prison for sure. I do enjoy my place, west central Illinois out in the woods overlooking a river bottom. My nearest neighbor is a half mile away and I like it like that.

AMEN TO THAT!! From a fellow fed up American from Illinois. I think of the Democratic party as the party of "mean girls" (referencing the old movie) who want to control everything and do it through shaming and name calling. It is stunning that it worked as long as it did.....

For sure. I really think that they could not care less about r****m, gay issues etc other than a means of control. Right now I don’t think the republicans are any better than the democrats. I’d like to chuck the lot of them and start over.

I think the only things the dems care about are getting elected then getting rich after that happens. The republicans only care about staying rich and making sure the country and currency are viable... the second thing at least spreads some of the wealth around 😧😧

Power over people is the untold t***h and it is going to continue until the citizens put an end to it. My opinion is, putting Trump in office was the first step
Isn't it interesting the more the ones that desire power over people loose that power the louder they get and their propaganda machine gets bigger and more used. So much disinformation out there

Well, Higlander66, you pretty much totally captured my thoughts, perceptions, and what I suppose I might fairly say is precisely "how I see it ALL" IF "this" stupidity continues I just don't see our (Patriots) avoiding what will at some point in time, be a "revolution" That said, The Sleeping Giant will make all those needed corrections. Thank you for sharing yourself Highlander66. I cannot be more sincere in my Thanks to you. Hang in there we will make it. The REAL Patriots.

Thank you. I am a very low level state worker for Illinois and yet I’ve seen some of the depths of corruption going on. I just don’t think it would do any good to say anything because it’s already mostly public knowledge and nobody is doing anything about it and it’s been accepted as normal. Rahm (mayor of Chicago) cut funding to and closed a whole bunch of public schools, mostly in poorer black communities and other than the communities themselves, there was no outcry or negative press. Chicago is the baseline by which corruption is measured. I agree with you. You can only poke the bear so long before it wakes up and turns on you.

I guess what I was trying to say in my original post was I’m tired of hearing groups say “we are all about supporting the gay community” unless you are conservative, then we h**e you too. “We are all about the black community “ unless you are conservative, then we wil mock you and deride you and call you names. “We are all about supporting women and everything about women “ unless you are conservative, then we will fat shame you and make fun of your intelligence and mock you for not thinking exactly the same as we tell you to. It just strikes me that the bottom line is forcing people into a particular mindset and the social issues are more a tool to do so rather than goals unto themselves.

Yes.. I very sincerely think and believe that it is just and only a matter of time. The Sleeping Giant WILL awaken. Chicago. That slime bucket Mayor is just that, a total lying loser hypocrite. Again, you just hang in there and always go out there and do the right thing. You will be rewarded. Meantime, I hope you are armed and prepared for what is sure to come. I, personally, dread this, and I very, very sincerely hope and I pray that "things" will change (for the good) but as the French say, "The more things change, the more they really stay the same". Be safe, and be strong. We must never leave our post.

Just one more "thought" and I KNOW a reality. The homos, and this term "homo" is for both male and female. The twisted, crippled, perverted things they do to each other is just the nose of the camel. The underlying mental disease that plagues these sickos extends into a darkness that, at least for me, is unthinkable. Many have children, and years ago a "thing" happened where the f*gs and the lesbos married, and to further enhance the "image" that this painted for them, they had children. Meantime, their evil and mental danger zone just expanded and the "things" that they did, and do, expanded. They actually stand for nothing. It is said that those who DO NOT stand for something will fall for anything. They are a disease, a deadly disease and the cure, the inoculation for their disease will come along.

Sadly I agree that there will be most likely an open conflict arising from the ongoing attack on our culture. I am as ready as I’m going to be, but I am certainly not looking forward to it. I have always used the analogy of a pendulum to our cultural and socitial progression (and regression) to where it swings one way and eventually inexorably swings back the other way. We have swung a long ways left and I pray that it will start it’s trek back to the right soon. As a wise man once said, there must be balance to the force.
