Also, remind me, why was it that Bill Clinton didn’t quite make it to Vietnam again... I forget

I doubt that Kevyn has ever taken the trouble to see the Clinton story , but I have and it ain't good for left leaners to see.

Heh. I know why, I was just gently pointing out a little hypocrisy there. I tend to try to look at several sides of an issue instead of just digging my heels in and pointing and yelling.

A lot of draft dodgers, suddenly become super patriots when they get past draft age.

There were a lot of people who, just like with Iraq, didn't believe in that war. I was one who did because of the SEATO pact. My sister was totally opposed as was my Father who was a career Marine. Reading Kyven, I'm not sure he's old enough to have been considered for the Viet Nam war or understands what was going on in this Country at that time.

I don't hold it against anyone who was able to avoid going to Nam. I was 4F and had to join the Merchant Marine in order to go. Of that I'm proud but also proud of those who stood up for their beliefs. Now those who were just scared, like a few I knew, I've no use for. S**t, we were all scared, guys, girl friends, Moms and Dads, we were all scared but did what we believed in anyway. Mike

Well Clinton didn't dirty in his pants to keep from getting drafted and he didn't have a rich daddy to buy him bone spurs. But he was going to college on a Rhodes scholarship.

My dad was sitting in a park in Canada and commented to an old boy on the bench that there were really a lot of "hippies" around there and wondered what they really were. The man replied that they weren't theirs but were nearly all American draft dodgers. My dad just didn't like those leaners he called hippies and was shocked to find out that most of them were Americans.

No, he soiled the clothes of women while his pants were down. In the Oval Office even.

First Rhoades scholar to be impeached...........but hey, someone had to be first, why not a corrupt Clinton.

I bet it looks good on his resume anyway.
