....but he owned one anyway. That's the way it will work with tighter gun control. Tighten gun laws and the only ones who will have guns will be the "BAD GUYS". http://datechguyblog.com/2017/11/05/dear-gungrabbers-it-was-illegal-for-devin-patrick-kelley-to-own-a-firearm/

They need to pass a law making it illegal to illegally own a gun.

There...

Problem solved.

Or a law preventing people from shooting other people without legal grounds for doing so, or for murdering someone or injuring them in any way.

Has anyone tried that yet?

Washington Post just reported air force forgot to let law enforcement know that shooter couldn’t own a gun legally.

Didn't a legal gun owner take this guy down ? So a gun saved lives.

I understood that was the case. So government, those who are supposed to protect us, if we are not allowed to protect ourselves, screwed up.

Murder is not wrong because it is illegal, Murder is illegal because it is wrong.

Even the most frenzied anti-second moron has to look at Chicago and the latest slaughterings as proof LAWS are nearly worthless.. or damned nearly worthless when it comes to preventing crazies from popping-off, druggies from going 'postal'.

I once got "right into it" with a friend when discussing this when I said that perhaps the USA should have a NEW LAW. That NEW LAW should state: IT'S AGAINST THE LAW TO BREAK THE LAW.

Ssshhhhh! That doesn't fit the narrative. We must focus on the k*****gs, not the prevention of further bloodshed. If word gets out that the k**ler was stopped by a guy with an AR15, what would that do to the narrative? AR15, bad. Unarmed and vulnerable, good. That's the narrative.

Ted Cruz was on Laura Ingrham's Angle program last night and he went into detail as to how that 'good Samaritan who admitted to being 'scared to death' still engaged the k**ler and managed to drive him off thus saving many other folks from becoming victims- first responders and LEO.

Ted stood tall in recommending the second amendment stay as intended and law-abiding citizens be allowed to own and possess firearms.

I don't disagree with your premise, but there are many things that are illegal that are not necessarily wrong.

Prohibition, natural remedies for disease prevention, selling lemonade outside your own house, any type of gun "control", etc, are examples.
