Senior Care / Part G

If you are an older senior citizen and can no longer take care of yourself and need Long-Term Care, but the government says there is no Nursing Home care available for you, what do you do?

You may opt for Medicare Part G.

The plan gives anyone 75 or older a gun (Part G) and one bullet. You may then shoot one worthless politician. This means you will be sent to prison for the rest of your life where you will receive three meals a day, a roof over your head, central heating and air conditioning, cable TV, a library, and all the health care you need. Need new teeth? No problem. Need glasses? That’s great. Need a hearing aid, new hip, knees, kidney, lungs, s*x c****e, or heart? They are all covered! As an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you at least as often as they do now! And, who will be paying for all of this? The same government that just told you they can't afford for you to go into a nursing home.

And you will get rid of a useless politician while you are at it. And now, because you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any more income taxes! Is this a great country or what?

Now that you have solved your senior Long-Term Care problem, enjoy the rest of your week!

Good solution. I'm getting to the point where I won't be able to be independent. I refused to be a burden on my kids or grand and great grand kids. I'll pass on the gun and shooting some politician part, though some may deserve it. There are other ways to draw a prison sentence. I'll look into this. Thanks for the idea. I may be half deaf, half blind, but I still have a sense of humor, weird as it may be.

Actually I have know of someone who gave up waiting for a vacancy in his local area drug rehabs and intentionally pulled a botched bank robbery in order to go to prison and get rehabbed in jail. He was desperate and it worked.

I am a Republican, v**ed for Trump and think he is doing a great job except for the Senior Citizens. We need something done about the insurance, Obamacare has been a real burden and I have yet to see any help for us. Have already received prices for my insurance and for several years now it has gone up each year. Everything goes up except my income. SS has to spend too much on people that never paid into it and of course we senior citizens suffer for the too.

I'm not a senior, but I count on Social Security and Medicare because I'm disabled. Since Obamacare was passed, health care costs have gone up for everyone. The ones hurt the most by it are the sickest Americans. To pay or it $800 billion was stolen from, or borrowed from Medicare. Medicare is the health care plan for the people on Social Security, senior citizens and disabled Americans. These are the people with the most heath care needs. The seniors and the disabled people have the most sicknesses and diseases. What's next? Maybe try to get Clintoncare passed. Remember that one. When Bill Clinton became POUS, FLOUS Hillary made up a health care plan. With socialized medicine, the first priority is to keep the costs down. With the Clinton health care plan, when a baby was born premature, and weighed less than a pound, or if someone that was 80 years old or older got sick, hey'd be k**led. These groups of people tend to be very sick and are expensive to keep alive and well. They did a good job of selling the plan, but too many people found out about the sick way that it would save money, so it couldn't get passed. Let's not go there again. Obamacare had it's death panels( they called them Independent Advisory Boards). The IPABs would decide who gets what treatments, they were to base their decision, not on what was best for the health of the patient, but, what's the cheapest. Not as bad as Clinton's, but still, we shouldn't knock off the sick people to lower health care costs.
