Stephen Hawking Is A Genius Who Just Keeps Saying Stupid Things

Paul Bois ~ November 2, 2017
The genius physicist Stephen Hawking may have postulated many tantalizing theories on the mysteries of our universe while being completely unable to stop himself from saying the most asinine of things.

On top of his beliefs in man-made c*****e c****e, his vehement opposition to Israel, and the silly assertion that our universe is a bubble surrounded by infinite bubbles, Hawking now claims that robots will become a form of "new life" and replace humans completely.

According to Mirror, Prof. Hawking fears that artificial intelligence (AI) will become a self-replicating life form that may "replace humans altogether."

"If people design computer v***ses, someone will design AI that improves and replicates itself," he said. "This will be a new form of life that outperforms humans."

While Hawking's fears may certainly seem plausible, his regard for humanity in this is beyond contemptible. Speaking at Cambridge University last year, the 75-year-old showed the depths of his anti-human philosophy when he asserted that an artificial intelligence could be made to replicate a human brain, which therefore would make it life. "It therefore follows that computers can, in theory, emulate human intelligence — and exceed it," he said. (Kinda sounds like he’s making man God.)

Hawking asserted this theory on top of another "chicken little" doomsday scenario of his regarding the sustainability of Earth, calling for a new generation of young people to take up space exploration in the hope of colonizing other planets.

"I believe we have reached the point of no return," he said. "Our earth is becoming too small for us, global population is increasing at an alarming rate and we are in danger of self-destructing."

Hawking does hope that the promulgation of artificial intelligence will help to bring about a technological revolution that will "undo some of the damage done to the natural world by the last one — industrialization."

Earlier this year, Hawking lamented his fear that he would not be welcome in Trump's America as a scientist, which is about as stupid as it gets.

Hawking also supports the ideological construct called "Scientism" — the belief that science has surpassed religion and philosophy in providing people with all the answers to life's questions.

He’s getting more stupid as he ages. Read Romans 1 for a perspective.

Gosh, why is it crazy to call for our children to prepare to populate other planets? How should we proceed--that Armageddon will occur therefore there is no need to prepare for our future or that mans future lies in his own hands therefore he needs to prepare for it? Should we tell our children to build an arc or tell them to hold their breath as god washes them away?

Stupid is as stupid does and CC's have done everything to prove that true...

So we are to prepare to populate other planets so we can have Armageddon on our new planet? I h**e to tell you this but the human sin nature will NEVER change without each person accepting the saving grace of what Jesus did for us on the cross. You're living proof of that.

Because Your Human Children Will Never Do It
There Will NEVER Be A Colony On Mars
Not Even A Continually Manned Station

I am not a fan of Stephen H., but I have to agree with his take on the future of AI.

Humans are and will be replaced by some version of AI, in a number of areas. In the area of physical and intellectual labor. Almost certainly in the area of space exploration and colonization.

I say space colonization because human robots, ( we are robots, of course; flesh and blood, but still robots) are going to find it almost impossible to travel any distance through space for a vast number of reasons. Human flesh can not tolerate so many of the problems (radiation, varied fields of gravity, time factor, etc.) that you come up against in the process of space travel. Our astronauts have enough problems just going a couple of hundred miles from earth’s surface and living at that distance for a few months. Metal AI with easily replicable parts and the ability therefore to handle various gravities and environments are already being used to explore Mars, etc.
Here on earth we use robots for so many things already. Not just to build our cars, answer our phones, etc. Ever think of your refrigerator, washing machine, car, etc. as robots with varying levels of AI. They are of course. AI will be , as they already are, our future s***es. And just as we are programmed by our creators, who then hid from us, the AI created by us will be programmed by us. (And ultimately we may find it expedient to hide from them.) 1... “You will not harm or allow harm to Human Beings. 2...You will not allow harm to yourself, unless to do so would harm a Human. 3...Etc.

And how am I living proof? Clearly the saving grace of Christ has done nothing for you so perhaps you're the perfect example!

That said, the fact that we can never be perfect doesn't mean you don't try to propagate and explore that which nature has laid out before us. We explored the world didn't we--why shouldn't we explore everything we possibly could?

And didn't god say go forth and multiply? Why are you letting an atmosphere stop you from carrying out his commandment?

Well I have thought it through and the only reason for it not to happen is that there isn't the political will to do it--or do you think we would have made it to the moon if we didn't have the political will to do so. And FYI, we had a continually manned station in place for decades so don't tell me it can't be done...

Why do you always "quote" a God that you don't believe exists?

For your benefit not mine...because you aren't as fine a Christian as you think you to be...

It doesn't matter that whether you may or may not think that I'm a "fine Christian." In God's eyes I am and am considered righteous by accepting what Jesus did for me on the cross. Can you say that? Of course not. Romans 3:23...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 6:23...For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

If you were wise, which at this point you are not, you would heed these words because if you don't you'll end up not being a very happy camper.

You've said parables are easy to understand Pete. Why not ponder on this one...

He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’ But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

I agree, he's a genius WITH NUMBERS, and that's it. Not a genius with life.

He should quit opining on American politics, just as I stop opining on astronomy and cosmology.
