"Lone wolf" attacks like in NYC are almost impossible to defend against and may even cause more fear and terror than large scale attacks. An especially dedicated safe place for people in the city to relax and enjoy was horribly desecrated. Such an attack seems to naturally make nowhere safe and to close down by intimidation all such events. Yet what did New Yorkers do? They held their scheduled Halloween parade anyway. No guarantee the threat was actually over, and under the shadow of the World Trade Center. Instead of screaming for the death penalty of the perpetrator, they gave the death penalty to fear and h**e and went about their normal business. WE WILL NOT BE COWED! To get in costume, bring your loved ones and children in hand and celebrate the day despite the possible menace, to boldly face, not ignore, what is the objective of terrorism, to make us quake and hide, these New Yorkers helped show us what America is about: trust in Liberty. They were not under cover of a Tweet-Storm; they were out in the open. They said, "NO MORE!" Listen. "Be not afraid." We are better than anything they throw against us. We are citizens of the Light of Freedom. God bless America!

We are not getting used to these attacks but waking from our captive fear to confront these attacks. How? Simply by living our guaranteed liberties. We are the template of what it means to be free. Nothing can defeat that. All the terrorists organizations have made the same mistake: WE WILL NOT BE COWED! OR EVER MORE RESORT TO SUCH COWARDLY THINGS AS THE PATRIOT ACT.
