Not crazy at all.
I don't think it's any more prevalent than in the past, and probably less so. The difference is in the reporting and public discussion, and I'm all for that. There's no reason for any female to think that her career or income could be dependent on their sexuality or the expectation of sexual favors.
I don't think it's a political issue in the sense that one side is worse than the other. There are predators, or scumbags, on both sides since men inhabit both political parties. Our wives, daughters, mothers, and other female relatives should not have to put up with this crap. Nor should our male relatives think this crap is acceptable behavior.
Whether Mark Foley soliciting teen boys or Harvey Weinstein holding forth on the casting couch, the difference between now and the 'olden days' is the public shaming. And I think that's a good development.
