On Tuesday, just in time for Halloween, the Planned Parenthood 501(c)4 “Black Community” account tweeted out this delightful thought:

If you’re a Black woman in America, it’s statistically safer to have an a******n than to carry a pregnancy to term or give birth.

In other words, that baby might k**l you, so go ahead and k**l it pre-emptively. A******n advocates say that a******n is less likely to k**l you than going through pregnancy and childbirth. These statistics are dicey at best — the Centers for Disease Control has stated that such statistics aren’t actually comparable, because we measure deaths per live birth, not deaths per pregnancy not terminated via a******n. Furthermore, those statistics don’t take into account other damage via a******n, from physical to psychological.

But even by their statistics, it’s extraordinarily rare to die from pregnancy in the United States overall: the mortality rate among women “who delivered live neonates was 8.8 deaths per 100,000 live births” from 1998-2005. The mortality rate among women who induced a******n was 0.6 deaths per 100,000. But as Dr. Anne Davis, scholar of obstetrics and gynecology at the Columbia University Medical Center in New York stated, “We wouldn’t tell people, ‘Don’t have a baby because it’s safer to have an a******n’ — that’s ridiculous.”

But that’s exactly what Planned Parenthood is selling: k**l your baby if you want to live. And they’re doing it specifically for minority women. Which is egregious, given the fact that there are more black babies aborted in New York City every year than born.

But at least Planned Parenthood can sleep well at night knowing that more minority babies will be thrown in waste bins.

Given the plethora of contraceptive measures available to women (and men) in this modern age, I never cease to be amazed that any woman, no matter how mentally r****ded or otherwise incapable of managing her life decisions she may be, could possibly have a pregnancy that is 'unwanted'. The fact that the pregnancy is initiated in the first place is what confounds me. Are they really that unbelievably moronic that they cannot swallow a pill on a daily basis, or see a doctor for a monthly injection; or in the case of many women who should never be allowed to reproduce in the first place, get their tubes tied? Is it really that bad? And further, why does it seem to be only black women who are so lopsidedly affected by this problem? Are Caucasian and Latino women that much smarter? I doubt it. Here's a thought, make them pay for their own a******ns and see how quickly the incidence of 'unwanted' pregnancies is significantly reduced.

A few moments of research reveals:

A) The tweet was in reference to an article in the LA Times about deaths related to childbirth IN TEXAS.

In any case I see no point in arguing with you. You have already made up your mind and appear to be unwilling to accept straightforward facts. I suppose that is your right, as it is mine to point out when others have misinterpreted and intentionally mislead readers.

Was the tweet itself inflammatory? I think so, and you have taken the bait like a bass does a nightcrawler.

In fact a******n is most dangerous to women especially when done many times on their body. After a******n of the woman, she'll find men again, have sex, and there another baby created to abort.
