there is no evidence that lower tax rates will bring back offshore funds or stimulate reinvestment @ home... sounds like trickle down economics... Reagan cut taxes in half then the auto industry went to Mexico... bottom line is the wealthy do as they please...

And there is no evidence that it won't bring back much of that money back. Business is in business to make money for the investers. Period. If they can make more money here with that money, they'll bring it back.

Or they will pocket the tax breaks enjoy the proceeds & hide more money offshore while America becomes a third world country... the wealthy can do wh**ever they choose & some make it very easy for them...

Nothings wrong with pizza or owning pizza places... It's mostly an all cash business where you can easily hide profits from taxation... Fact is I love to eat pizza but hiding profits from taxation is my point... it is done "@"all levels, one of pizza place can gross well over a million per year ... X that by 10 or 20 & you're in the big time in the Cayman's & in a much lower tax bracket paying into the national deficit & the value of the dollar effecting honest hard working tax payers... Now just think about billionaires & their ability's to play games with taxation as we lower their rates...

You are aware that the government has seized money from small businesses like pizza places and other small businesses. Person brings his receipts to the bank every few days and the government doesn't like the patter of deposits, decides that it is ill gotten gains and seizes all the money in the bank. Explanations don't work. Proof doesn't always work and even if you win in court after spending thousands of dollars on lawyers, you still might not get your money back. That is what I was referring to. Yes, it does happen. And also with t***sactions of over $10,000. They get real upset about that. You have to report such t***sactions or the money can be seized and you might not get it back.
But as I was writing that response, I noticed that the original thread has been long ago hi-jacked. Reading the title reminded me of a story. Something like this. A guy goes to the corner store with his neighbors and their kid. Kid notices a shabbily dressed homeless guy on the corner. She feels sorry for him and suggests we give him some money. So he suggests that she open a lemonade stand, earn some money herself and donate it to the homeless guy. She thinks for a minute and says, 'Why doesn't he open his own lemonade stand." He replies, "Welcome to the Republican Party." His friends haven't talked to him since. "Kiddies Don't Like Socialism"
