A U.S. federal court in Washington blocked a Trump administration policy prohibiting t*********r people from serving in the U.S. military on Monday.
President Trump first announced the administration's plan to shift military policy relative to t*********r members of the armed services back in July.

"After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow t*********r individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military," Trump then wrote in a series of Twitter posts. "Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that t*********r in the military would entail."
