First my objection was the use of the word "q***r" when you referenced our military. Not your comment, just that one single word. Second. I have never asked nor have I told you to "shut the f up." That is just rude. I have never implied that you should keep your mouth shut. You are entitled to your opinions. I do not have to agree with everyone on everything, and I would not expect you to try to agree always. That defeats discussion and open dialogue. Regarding my relationship with any other member on this forum, quite honestly it is none of your business and it is speculation about relationships that cause most arguments. As for my discussions with BD, well he and I never see eye to eye. I have come to believe that he is a very lonely man. He will post wh**ever is necessary to get attention.

I do not understand your last remark; other than it being very angry. I do not know you, so I will not speculate on why you must call me names. You say that I am self-righteous, that interests me. Have you confused self assurance with self-righteousness? I am very confident, and I am not ashamed of my education, status, or self awareness. I used the word q***r because of one person who uses it constantly. If you were to here the word humid or rat when reference to a group of people wouldn't you get angry?? I have a aversion to that term and I used it to get the response I received. One of opposed. I beleve our military needs all the people it can muster to combat the enemy. This next question I ask with sincere respect. Do you personally know any gay people?? And if so, have they at any time been in your face with their lifestyle or have they ever imposed there views on you??
I am a Christian whose far from perfect. This post I directed towards you is more than proof. I lost it. Maybe because I actually have really liked what you post and learn a great deal from it
so my use of the f word and my anger shows me I have a lot of work to do. But besides being Christian I have changed my life 100degrees but I have many good friends that are gay and in the military. And I am very patient to not say anything when this is continually the ranting of this person. But I seriously feel that our military is in need of numbers and until we actually draft people in the military it's better served with people willing to serve than forced. I will leave it at that before I say more then I intend because its late.

No harm done. Think no more about it. Yes, I do know some people who are gay. Right now I can name at least 10 who I know is gay, 3 that I am not sure about.... they are good people and they are welcome in my home. I do not have a personal grudge against a person because of their sexual orientation. In fact, I have nothing against anyone. If a person is respectful of others, then I am respectful to them. And the second part of your question. No, I have never had one get in my face with their preferences; but I have seen it happen. I had a secretary, he was unique. stereotype to the max. I watched him go off on one of my contractors with hand on hip, wagging finger and the "no, no, no; you didn't just say that!" I ran, I did not walk, I ran to the lady's room because I did not want anyone to see me laugh that hard. Yes, I sat them down and talked with them regarding the issue. He was a great secretary and I wound up promoting him to Office Manager with a nice raise. It was not because he was gay, but he was a great worker. You may not know but my husband (now departed) and I met while we were active duty. Our people in uniform deserve respect and yes I do think that we need to go back to basics. Our military will take years to restructure and it will be a tough job for the TIs or DIs; but we will recover. Again, do not worry for reacting to my comment. I should have been more thoughtful with my response. Water under the bridge?

Thank you yes water under the bridge. I think when people have had a lunatic that k**led many because of his mighty military machine he left many of us who are different very on edge and unfortunately vulnerable to attacking the wrong perpetrators. Just a thought good night

I did not respond to that post, because while I do not agree with her on homosexuality, ginnyt responded in a manner that parallels her religious beliefs. No disrespect meant to you, but the starkness of difference in how you two approach homosexuality could not be more pronounced. I guess you could say I have an intolerance towards intolerance, which sometimes I should just keep to myself. Have a great day.

I remember back in the 90's when some marines took turns raping a poor little Japanese girl near their base in Japan.There are a lot of good men and women in our military but they are NOT all saints.Our society's morals have been in the toilet for decades and guess where our soldiers come from?Our society.We need to pray for them, and also, look at the muslim soldiers who have shot our guys here at home.

I do not like the current gpvernment.They have laid the heads of the working poor on the chop blocks for the insurance companies and the IRS.Those i***ts think the reason young people weren't buying health insurance is because they would rather waste their money.You take a 24 yr old person making 250$ a week his rent is 450$ a month, 250$ for electricity, 25$ for water a car payment, car insurance, gas groceries and he is broke, there IS No big bucks left over for a 50$ a week insurance policy with a 2,500.00 deductible DUHHHHHHHH!The demorats ran on the war platform, why are our guys still over there?I could go on but their record speaks for itself.They COULD Have passed Obama care WITHOUT the individual mandate the republicrats screamed for BEFORE the last e******n, but were afraid they'd make the v**ers mad.Well guess what, we're mad.
