How to tell a true prophet
A true prophet will tell you what will happen before it happens.
And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
Deuteronomy 18:21 & 22
Jesus warned His disciples in all four gospels to be prepared for hate and scorn. That they will be browbeaten by counsels before kings and governors. That they will be prosecuted and persecuted and killed. If you are teaching truth, and satan has deceived the whole world, then most will disagree. The traditions of men make the word of God have no effect. Those taught by men that didn’t understand themselves will not accept the truth.
