it looks as if the end of ISIS in the ME does nothing but give other groups more power, including the return of Al Qida..

ISIS moves to greater Africa and terrorists hardly miss a step..

this is an excellent if depressing story of the situation..

Bigger battles are rising from the ashes of the war on ISIS

(CNN)The last ISIS fighters in Raqqa have been k**led or surrendered, and the terror group that once held territory the size of the United Kingdom and ruled over ten million people has been pushed back to a few dusty towns straddling the Syrian border with Iraq.

The campaign to eradicate the Islamic State has taken three years and nearly 25,000 coalition airstrikes, in addition to thousands by Russian, Iraqi and Syrian aircraft.

Thanks General permafrost,, for that incredible tactical sitrep and op-ed piece,,,,

Your interest in national defense is appreciated,,, but leave it to professionals,,, ie Not Obama or any other democrat,, who created ISIS,,, funded and armed Al Queda (not al quida),,, and lost 3 times the troops in Afghanistan over bush, and re-lost Iraq after it was won..

What I cant figure out, is why anyone would solicit input from the left,,, I cannot recall a single thing the left championed that actually worked without lies, misinformation, and drones repeating the practiced mantras

Yep, destroy what's left of an entire region to get the cockroaches out, and call it a win. Meanwhile, on the REST of the planet...............the little ISIS cockroaches are alive and well - and thriving.

Ok, we gottem on the run, so who's next? What's the next country we'll reduce to rubble, to keep em running? Eventually, when we've destroyed the rest of the planet...................the cockroaches will end up here - and we can burn OUR house down.
