Here’s the simple fact: Republican leadership’s goal is to give massive tax breaks to the super-rich. That’s it. They’re putting millionaires and billionaires over working families and destroying the system of regular order that Congress is supposed to operate by.
Republican leaders claim that their plan will help everyone. But here’s the t***h: This plan would RAISE taxes for 1 in 3 middle class families, BLOW UP the deficit by $5.1 trillion, and EXEMPT the money that U.S. multinational corporations gather overseas – meaning they don’t have to pay taxes on it.
That’s not helping working families. That’s just helping out super-rich corporations.
Let’s keep fighting this so-called “tax reform” plan, and demand one that benefits working families.

Yea,yea, yea, yea, just more Lefty Shumer/Peelosi talking points.
permafrost, Rich people need love too. Just kidding. This trend has been increasing every time the Republicans have power. It is unsustainable. When the workers of this country are reduced to poverty and the middle class has to choose between their children going to college, buying a home, or having a decent retirement, the s**t will surely hit the fan. If the right wing of the GOP is so worried about socialism now, just wait. There will come a time when they will have reason to be worried. That time isn't far away. The t***h is, they will have nobody to blame but themselves.

You do known you’re clueless. There are more millionaire Democrats in Congress and the Senate than Republicans. Also, the biggest disparity between the have and have nots occurred under Obama. Do you guys on the left ever no what you are talking about?

permi: Again the day your start reading logical sites is the day the sun might brighten your life! No mater what type of ideology you find yourself complaining about; there will always be poor people! " So that the record of history is absolutely crystal clear. There is no alternative way, so far discovered, of improving the lot of the ordinary people that can hold a candle to the productive activities that are unleashed by a free enterprise system." -Milton Friedman-
Permi: What you seem to propose is There are two kinds of assistance through government that seem superficially similar: first, 90 percent of us agreeing to impose taxes on ourselves in order to help the bottom 10 percent, and second, 80 percent v****g to impose taxes on the top 10 percent to help the bottom 10 percent . It's not going to happen....Go back to Sleep!

The top 10% already pay 70.6% of all income taxes. It sounds as if the Dems want them to pay 110% of all taxes, that way the 47% that pay zero taxes can have a better lifestyle.
