I saw Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch, can't remember the show, and he was talking about having to sue to get documents that should have been turned over with a FOIA, and when they finally got the documents, (per federal judge's order) THIS DOJ redacted so much of them they were pretty much useless. I've said this before, we don't have a deep state-we have an upfront in-your-face corrupt state that could care less what the American citizen thinks. Part of the reason the American public elected Trump was a repudiation of Obama's corruption and abuse of power. And while Trump has come through on his policy promises, (or at least tried to,) we also want to see accountability and JUSTICE for ALL that corruption and abuse of power. It is just as important, as it might help rebuild trust in the government. Wish I knew how to make those who supposedly represent us feel the same, ( most likely too many of them were either helping Obama or turning a blind eye)
