The promises of God

God never says no. Although following Him may lead to a fiery furnace, He will be in there with you. Reading 2 Corinthians 1:18 - 20 shows us that the promises of God are not yes and no, but yes and amen. Amen means so be it. Do what you want and learn from your failures. In other words, God will be with you in every endeavor, if you want to walk with Him. He will never leave or forsake you. As a disciple of Christ, you will find yourself on the storm tossed seas of life. The situation is going to appear hopeless, and it will seem like you are all alone. When you are about to give up God will make the situation disappear like smoke. Your faith is being tested. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. Hebrews 11:6 If your faith isn’t tested, how will God know it’s any good?

Hi Fred,

God knows the end from the beginning, no guess work. There's a purpose for all the seasons!
It helps us learn our strengths (to gain confidence in Him).
When we are tested, we learn discernment, to eat from the good fruit and leave the bad / evil alone.

After the night, comes the dawn.

"God is not a figment of man's imagination... God is real.
Man is a figment of God's imagination... that makes us real."
Simple words, but depth in meaning. Doyle

==================
The Beauty and Love of God to His people. Here is a poem, a lyric by Cecil F. Alexander in 1848.
We used to sing or recite this in school when we were kids.

Refrain:
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful:
The Lord God made them all.

Each little flow’r that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colors,
He made their tiny wings.

The purple-headed mountains,
The river running by,
The sunset and the morning
That brightens up the sky.

The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
He made them every one.

The tall trees in the greenwood,
The meadows where we play,
The rushes by the water,
To gather every day.

He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell
How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.
======
How Great Thou Art Oh, Lord,
Thy Love for us he gave!

God answers the prayers of the righteous. You have to come to God with "clean hands". Psalm 66:18. "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me". Only God can see into the future and sometimes the answer to a prayer is no. God will do what is best for us in the long run. Things that seem bad when they happen aren't always so. Perfect righteousness (holiness) procures God's favor. God will answer your thoughts/prayers even before you ask.
