The source of sin

And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee, for it is profitable that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. This needs some explaining. First what is the source of sin? We should obey Jesus in John 7:24
Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
In John 6:63 Jesus says, “the flesh profits nothing”. Jesus is not suggesting self mutilation. The source of sin isn’t physical, but mental and spiritual. You don’t steal, murder, and commit adultery because of your body parts. You think you will get away with it and that is okay. You justify sin mentally before commit sin physically, like Eve in the garden of Eden. Jesus in Matthew is talking about the church, the many membered body. If someone is teaching a doctrine that disagrees with scripture, it is better to fire that person than lead the church to hell or cause fights.
