At least 35 people are dead in Sonoma county and Santa Rosa......And its going to get worse...I think death by fire is the worse way to go!!...People of Northern California we ARE WITH YOU!!

More then dozen wineries are affected by fires....Probably winery tourism will be affected too....

Haven't verified yet but have heard reports that much of these fires severity can be laid at the feet of the wacko environmentalists who have stopped Californias government from clearing underbrush and dead trees.

Thanks for reaching out! I live in downtown Santa Rosa which has suffered unimaginable losses, many of those losses right down the very street where I live and have my office, Mendocino Avenue! I have friends and colleagues who lost their homes. Truly mind boggling!
I thank God my home didn't burn to the ground. Yesterday, I purchased 2 new garden hoses and sprinklers and put the sprinklers on the roof. If the mandatory evacuation order came through I would have turned on both sprinklers to keep everything wet.
It will take many years if not decades to put this horrific episode behind us.

For at least the last ten years that has been a problem in California and the environmentalists who know nothing about the life cycle of plains and forests and don't want to learn anything about it.
