Malachi chapter 1

Verse 1 - 3

The feelings God had for Jacob and Esau were directly tied to the things they did. Not only in this age. If God hates you, then you have a big problem.

Verse 4 & 5

Eventually Esau’s children settled in Russia and became communist. Most of Russia was not in the communist party. The Bolsheviks took over the government and ruined the country. Stalin killed more Russians than Hitler. Communism is anti-God. God is anti-communist. Capitalism lines up with Christianity.

Verse 6 & 7

Luke 6:46 quotes Jesus as saying, “why call ye me Lord and do not the things I say?” It is still taught and believed that the bible is boring and can’t be taught. In spite of Isaiah 8:20. Man doesn’t live by bread alone, but by every word from God’s mouth. Imagine a buffet with all kinds of meats, vegetables, breads, and deserts. Now picture one that served vomit, road kill, and excrement. Which one would you go to? Some churches expect money for the nonsense they teach.

Verse 8

With every other discipline you don’t coach unless you have played. Some preachers don’t regularly read their bibles. It would be foolish to tell someone how to drive to Dallas if you have never made the drive.

Verse 9 - 12

Worship is useless without obedience. When teaching God’s word, your greatest .opponents will be those under some sort of religion.

Verse 13 & 14

God wants to be worshipped by those who obey. If God’s word bores you, your worship is a waste of time.

Malachi chapter 1 br br Verse 1 - 3 br br The fe... (show quote)

It doesn't bore me, but I have some cognitive issues and have a problem understanding some it. Memorizing it is out the question too. I can read explanations about what I read and they make sense, but study of any kind is difficult for me. It sucks getting old.

fredlott63, well done. There's many shepherds who were not called by God, the God of the Bible.
I think, we see the 'effects of Esau/Edomites' spread throughout the world and it is especially within the U.S.. The U.S. maybe the worst, religiously blending 'good and evil' into one bowl.

Theophilus, don't be discouraged.

You don't hear this often, if ever, the focus of our purpose is to help build God's Kingdom (His Government: a Government of Truth; His Ways) by surrendering our ways, our lives to do His Will. Our salvation is only the by-product for doing His Will... nothing for us to be concerned with or to worry about.

It's like when I became a soldier, I affirmed my allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, one nation under God (the God of the Bible). This was an agreement (covenant) to uphold, defend, and honor Principles and Values that were greater than my life. For these Principles and Values were based on my love for my family, friends and country. I affirmed my allegiance standing tall with my eyes wide open, with the knowledge that I would surrender everything, my life, that was more noble and honorable than just existing and cowardly following my self-desires!

Part of my obligation was to know my job, my duties and responsibilities as a soldier. If I didn't know and fulfill my responsibilities, what good would I have been to those around me and for the purpose I was called.

I know, it is the same for the Kingdom of God! I do this willingly, with the greatest of my love, for the God (YHWH, Blessed be HIS NAME) that I serve with my eyes wide open. I acknowledge His Kingdom come will be an everlasting one of absolute Truth, Love and Justice that no one can properly fault. I cannot think of any greater cause or purpose!

God is not a figment of man's imagination... He is real!
Man is a figment of God's imagination... that makes us real!
