But key in the words "Rules for Radicals FreedomWorks" or "Rules for Radicals Dick Armey" and see what you come up with.

If we do not educate the young college age v**ers, who have absolutely no idea who Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid are, and bring back the black v**ers who have lost memory that it was the Republican party who got them out of s***ery. It was a Republican President that wrote all men are created equal and was shot dead for his troubles. It was the Republican party who were the New York black and white Abolitionists. It was Frederick Douglass who was Republican. And Martin Luther King. It was Republican kids who marched down the streets in Selma, Ala in order to win their black brothers the right to eat at a lunch counter with them. It was the Democrats who started Segregation. It was the Democratic party who headed the KKK. And started the Jim Crow v****g laws. And did all of the lynchings in the South. Why is it the b****s do not see this? Because no one is out there educating them. All the Tea Party does is send email after email of doom and gloom, and then it is donate, donate, donate. When I was in High School,I refused to stand up during the Pledge of Allegiance to this country's f**g because I was protesting what I viewed as an illegal conflict, The View Nam War. And every kid in the class knew why because they were politically savvy. Today's kids do not. And if we do not win these two critical v**er groups, then the Republican party will cease to exist as we know it and will never be seen again in our lifetimes. Live Love from the great Republic of Texas!

It would be very interesting to see exactly what common core curriculum looks like for things like us history, science and current events.

That was before richard nixon's "southern strategy" attracted all the former r****t Democrats to the GOP.

Yes, the Republican Party, from Abe Lincoln to Teddy Roosevelt, stood for progressive politics where the rights of the oppressed were more important the rights of those who wanted the darkies to be back in their place and the return to the unfettered capitalism of the late 19th Century.

Today, the parties have switched places, although the Democrats actually give only lip service, for the most part, rather than true support. Both are part of the corporate plutocracy that rules the nation today.

Ask those kids down south, now grown up, which party best represents them today. Certainly ain't the GOP.

Food for thought:

The 2nd amendment doesn't specifically say guns. It grants the right to keep and bear arms. Which, technically, I could take to mean that I have a Constitutional right to keep and bear a nuclear missile, or own an F-22. However I'm not allowed to have either.

Or clubs, spears & bow & arrows.

Maye even rocks.

They are well informed with the wrong information.

I don't think most people on this forum are dumb.

Just mixed up. Afraid to make changes feeling that will only make things worse.

Feeling they got this far with what they believe so why change horses so to speak.

We all need to bite the bullet & begin to trust our self & each other more. For if we truly believe that we are being taken for a ride by the powers that be, only being united with each other will give us the strength to put the power back in the hand of the people.

We need not be in 100% agreement but there are key points that we need to be in line with.

If we don't get over our distrust of each other. Our distrust
will only let the powers that be will only control our life's more.
