Isaiah chapter 26

Verse 1 & 2

One day there will be no closet Christians, God blesses those that do His will. Read the fifteenth Psalm.

Verse 3 - 6

This is not the time to be rich. We should bear a cross. I would rather stand in front of God with six crosses on my back, than to stand in a silk suit and have Him ask me “where is your cross?” Read Matthew 10:38.

Verse 7 - 9

You have a better life if you do what God likes and avoid displeasing Him. God appeals to intellect, satan to emotion. We should wait on God.

Verse 10 & 11

Satan has deceived the whole world. When a deceived mind gets good things they learn the wrong lesson. They think character, honesty, values, and morality are not important. They can’t keep a job and will never be homeowners. Eventually they will have bad credit. Vengeance is mine says God. God is getting ready to punish evildoers. They are not noticing but people change when they hit bottom

Verse 12 - 14

This generation is useless.. They are letting the government destroy this nation. Bernie Sanders was a miserable failure until he became a politician, now he is a millionaire with more than one home. My fathers generation changed the laws of the government and the way people looked at each other. This generation allows the government to legalize drugs, abortion, and same sex marriage

Verse 15 - 18

We have come far from where we started but we go back to our roots when things get bad. Childbirth is a messy, bloody process. But when the child is delivered, the pain is forgotten. When a woman first gets pregnant, you can’t look at her and tell. But the closer you get to childbirth, the bigger her stomach gets. We can tell God’s return is imminent because we criminalize normal relations and legalize gay marriage.

Verse 19 & 20

Death of the flesh is not the end of life. Like adulthood last longer than childhood, life in a spirit body is longer than flesh. Disciples of Christ should lead quiet lives until God raises us up.

Verse 21

We already think we have the right to worship God while we vote for same sex marriage and murder children. We will become so jaded that we won’t bury the dead.
